"Rock and roll saves the soul."- Casey  (I know this quote has nothing to do with this chapter but I really like it)

Sapna's POV

I was starting my job today. I was actually really excited considering I get to work at Hollister, which smells great and has great clothes. especially jeans. I hope I get an employee discount because then I can get a bunch of jeans and clothes.

I had a gold-ish sparkly tank top, Hollister jean shorts, cream colored flats, tan Aviators, a cream colored handbag, a butterfly ring, pearl earrings, and a gold bracelet. I was actually pretty proud of how I looked. I straightened my hair and was ready to go. I grabbed a waffle and was out the door. I love food so much. if I don't get married to a guy, I'm getting married to food.

I started singing Gold by Britt Nicole on my way to work. It wasn't a very far walk to get to work, but it was really nice outside, and I had a lot of time, so I walked really slow. A couple guys passed me and checked me out. I just kept walking. Normally I would look back at them, but I have a boyfriend now. I still get tingles when I think that he is my boyfriend.

I arrived to the the Hollister store, and was greeted by the heavenly, signature smell of all Hollister stores. I walked up to the counter to find that there was no one there. I turned around and looked around the store. I didn't see anyone. I leaned back on the counter and waited for someone. The store hadn't opened yet, and wasn't going to open for another 30 minutes. I waited for about 30 seconds before I heard a voice.

"Sorry, we're not open yet."

I turned around and was greeted by a familiar face.

"NIck?!"

"Sapna?!"

"What are you doing here?"

"I work here. What are you doing here?"

"I got a job here the other day. I mean what are you doing here... in London?"

"My parents moved here, and I got a scholarship for one of the universities here. What are you doing in England?"

"I'm here with Katie, Danielle, and Zach for the summer. For vacation."

"Nice!"

Just then a girl that looked like she was about 29, came out of the room at the back.

Nick saw here, and looked over at me.

"so I'm Nick. I'll be training you."

"Nick, I know who you are. You don't have to introduce yourself to me."

As soon as the manager walked away he seemed to loosen up a bit.

"I know but I have to make a good impression still," he said while laughing.

He told me to come around to the counter and put my stuff in the little shelf. I pulled out my phone and put it in my back pocket.

"Okay, so you're going to start out greeting the customers when they come in. Every time a customer comes in you say 'Hi wel-"

"I know how to greet the customers. I mean I've only been to Hollister a thousand times."

As if on cue, a customer walked in.

"Hi! Welcome to Hollister! Can I help you find anything today?"

"Oh no thanks-. Actually yeah I was wondering if you could help me find some clothes my daughter would like. You look about her age and size."

"Oh yeah. Well is there anything in specific that I could help you find? Like swimsuits or tops or shorts?"

"Well I was thinking of just getting her some tops and shirts from here."
