Sapna’s POV

At around 6:30, I was ready. I had on a navy blue dress with a bow tied in the front that went a little higher than the knee. I paired it with some gold heels, a gold bracelet, and a silver clutch. I did a half-up half-down french twist, and curled the part that was down. I had gold earrings on and a gold necklace with an infinity sign on it.

I got a text from Niall and then heard the doorbell ring. I checked my hair in the mirror then ran to get the door.

“Dani! I’m going out!”

“Ah-kay!”

I opened the door to be greeted with one of the biggest smiles I’ve ever seen. Niall wa smiling this million-watt smile that made his blue eyes sparkling.

“You look gorgeous Sapna.”

I blushed and looked down at my shoes

“Thanks. You look really nice to Ni.”

“Leggo,” he said.

I laughed at his ghetto side and he laughed with me. He took my hand and led me down the stairs to his car.

“You really do look really nice Sapna.”

“Thanks Niall. So do you.”

He leaned over and kissed me and I kissed him back. We broke apart, and smiled at each other. He went back to the driver seat and started the car.

We got to the restaurant, and the lady took us all the way to the back, so that we had so more privacy. we ordered our food, and laughed and talked. When the food got there, Niall looked like a little kid at a candy store. He was so adorable and cute.

After eating, we went outside and saw that the sun was starting to set.

“C’mon. There’s somewhere I want to take you,” he said, as he took my hand and started jogging towards what looked like a beach.

We got to the beach and started walking on the sand. I took my shoes off and so did Niall. We walked closer to the water so that the water was hitting our feet. We were walking, and were holding hands with our fingers intertwined with each other.

Niall stopped in his tracks, making me turn around. I looked into his eyes and saw a glint of worry and nervousness.

“Niall? What’s wrong?”

“Sapna. I know we’ve only know each other for a little while now, but I feel like I can just be myself around you. I don’t have to be someone I’m not. I love being with you. I’m always smiling and laughing while I’m with you. The thought of you makes me light up. I thought this was going to be a normal summer like always, but then I met you, and now this summer is one of the best summers ever. So I guess what I’m trying to say is, Sapna… Will you be my girlfriend?”

As he said this he took my other hand in his hand.

“Yes. I’d love to be your girlfriend.”

He picked me up and spun me around. He put me down and kissed me. It was the best moment. Like a movie moment. We broke away breathless. We still had our fingers intertwined.

By now the sun had fully set and the moon was out. The stars were twinkling. bright tonight.

“We should get going. It’s getting late and kind of cold.”

With that he took off his jacket and put it around my shoulders.

We walked back to the car with smiles on our faces and our fingers intertwined.
