"So I buy it. The most perfect little cardigan in the world. People will call me the Girl in the Gray Cardigan. I’ll be able to live in it. Really, it’s an investment.” -Sophie Kinsella, Confessions of a Shopaholic

Sapna’s POV

“Since we’re going to be in England for the entire summer, which would be about 93 days, i was thinking I’m going to need about two to three suitcases. Two for all the clothes and stuff I’m taking there, and one for all the clothes I buy while I’m there. Plus I’m going to need my flat iron and curling wa-”

“Woah! Dani calm down! I’m pretty sure you don’t need three suitcases. Two should be enough. Stop stressing out, it’s going to be fine.”

“Yeah. Sapna’s right Dani. You definitely don’t need three suitcases. Plus all three of us are about the same size so we can share clothes, and we’re going to buy more while we’re there anyways,” Katie piped in. “And guys, we still have graduation tonight, and then we have a whole day after that before we leave. So we’ll worry about what to take England then, yeah? Let’s just get ready for graduation right now.”

With that we went to get ready for graduation. It was being held in the school gym. This is high school graduation we’re talking about. The entry to adulthood and they’re holding it in the school gym? Personally, I think it should be held somewhere a little nicer, like at a university. But I don’t have a say in it because I’m not part of student council, but I don’t really care because most of them are stuck up and annoying anyways.

***********

Graduation couldn’t have been worse. The valedictorian, which was somehow Katie’s stupid ex-boyfriend, gave this really terrible speech. It was just like him: boring, annoying, and made people wanna jump off a bridge. How he became valedictorian, no one knows. Almost everyone was asleep by the time he was done. Even the principal started dozing off.

Otherwise the graduation was okay, but to be honest I think my eighth grade graduation was more eventful. At least  our eighth grade graduation was held in an auditorium. So we atleast had a stage, and it didn't smell like sweat and feet. Plus our eighth grade graduation had food. The high school graduation didn't even have snacks! All we got was to sit there for two and half hours, listen to some idiot go on and on about who know's what in a hot, sweaty gym, and then got our diplomas. That's it. Nothing exciting or worth even trying to remember.

So now that that’s over Katie, Dani, and I can tackle our next issue: How many suitcases we need for our trip.
