Chapter 16

Harry's pov

We entered this house. It's creepy. Lupe went to look around in the rooms while I entered a small room. There were only a bed, a desk and a chair in it. It didn't even have a window.

Suddenly I heard a quiet moan. What the...

I walked towards the noise and I saw...Jennifer? Oh my gosh....

She was half naked, she just had her lingerie on. She was shaking so hard.

-Please don't hurt me I will do what you want just don't hurt me please.

-Jen please look at me. It's me, Harry. You're safe now, ok?

She didn't move so I just twisted her in a blanket, I lifted her up and put her in my car. She needs to get to a hospital asap. I called Lupe and she sat next to Jen in the car. Jen was laying in her lap.

I drove as fast as I could to get to the nearest hospital. Hang in there Jennifer...

We arrived at the hospital, I lifted Jen up and tried to call a doctor.

-Someone please help me, she needs a doctor NOW!!

Nurses rushed to us and laid her on a hospital bed.  We had to stay in the waiting room while the doctors were examining her.

I'm still super worried but at least she's in good hands now.

An hour later they called us in.

-Jennifer is really weak, but she's stable. 4 of her ribs are broken and she has bruises all over her body. I don't know what happened to her but she can't stop crying. I'm sure they hurt her or something like that happened...She's sensitive and she didn't say a word. Please try to make her talk but be careful she has to relax. Don't force her just make her feel loved she has to feel that you're here for her now.

This left me speechless. My poor Jennifer. I'm so thankful she's alive. She could've died. I knew Beau kidnapped her, he's the only one who want to hurt Jen.

Once I will get that asshole and he will pay for everything he did.

I was sitting on a chair next to Jen's bed. Lupe stayed in the waiting room, the doctors said only one person can come in. I said that she's her mother and she should be the one who talks to Jen, but Lupe wanted me to come in.

Jen was still asleep and I held her hand. With my other hand I brushed her hair and caressed her face.

I don't know what Beau did to her but she lost at least 15 kgs. I can see her ribs through her skin. She's so tiny.

Finally she fluttered her eyes. She's awake now. Thanks god. I smiled at her.

-Jen, you're safe now. The doctors examined you and you have to stay in bed for a week. You're too weak to move. And the most important thing is that you have to eat.

She just looked at me. She tried to smile but she broke down in tears.

-Harry please hug me. She weakly said.

I tried my best to not to break her while hugging her. She pressed her head to my chest.

I decided to bring her food. If you look at her you can tell she didn't eat anything for a long time.

I went to the nearest McDonalds and bought her favourite meal. Chicken with french fries, a cheese burger and a big cup of cola.

I headed back to the hospital. She  fell asleep while I was in the shop. I hate doing this but I woke her up.

-Baby look I bought you food. It's your favourite.

She looked at the huge bag and didn't say anything just hugged me. She ate her meal and I can tell she looks 100 times better now.

-Harry can you hold my hand while I'm sleeping? She asked me.

How could I say no to her?

-Of course baby.

I held her hand as she slowly fell asleep. Finally she's in good hands and there are people around her who treat her like she deserves to be treated.
