The first quarter of the year went by quicker than I thought it did. I haven't been the same since that note though. I never did show it to Jett. I kept getting more and more so I started self harming again. I never let the marks be visible to the world. I kept them hidden under long sleeves and fake smiles. At home the razor blade and notes were in a locked safe accessible only by me. In a separate but much larger safe were my weapons. The majority of them were made of palladium, the best defense against angels. I've hardly touched them and I never thought I would use them. Just like I never thought someone would find out about the marks. I was soon to find out I was wrong about both of those things. Life had been going good as far as I'm concerned. I didn't have many issues besides the people ,school and the self harm. It was a sunny Saturday afternoon after the quarter had ended. I was taking a leisurely stroll through a park without Jett there. If he knew I was gone without him he'd freak. This is why Saturday is a good day for me to get out of the house. No Jett, no worries. Until.. *buzz buzz* I pulled my phone out and checked my texts.
Jett:
Come home right now.
Me:
Why it's such a beautiful day?
Jett:
Now.
Me:
Ok Mr. GrumpPants. I'm on my way.

I pulled my sleeves down over the marks to cover them and started walking back home. On my way back people from the sidewalks berated me with insults and statements. I just ignored them and kept on walking. When i got to the front door I got my keys out and unlocked it heading straight upstairs to my room. I closed and locked the door and then jammed the door even further shut with a chair under the knob.  I pulled out the little box from underneath my bed and opened it. What the hell? It was empty. Then I remembered the secret room I had created out of a useless closet in my room. I unlocked it and walked in to my little hiding spot. Closing and locking the door behind me, I open the little safe and pull out my secret box. There in it was my back up razors in case he had found the others. I jammed the secret room door shut even further and pulled a razor out of the box. Pounding on a door sounded throughout the room. "Open this door." Jett said. I didn't respond and I made the first cut. The pounding continued for awhile along with protests to open the door. After a couple of minutes it stopped. I think he left. I thought.  By then I had made about 10 cuts on each of my arms and legs. When I had thought he had left there was more sound but not pounding this time. This time he was trying to kick the door down. I heard the chair skid across the room and then more sound coming from the door. Then the door slammed open and running footsteps were heard. He came to a halt in front of the closet door. I held my breath as he was standing there. This time there was alight knock unlike the others. "Please open this door." Jett said softly. "All I wanna do is help." I unjammed the door but didn't unlock it. "Please Tessa. Please let me help." He said. I unlocked it and I'm guessing he heard the soft click of the lock because he opened the door slowly. When he saw me he froze. I had several cuts up and down my arms and legs. My head wasn't feeling good at all and I had lost a lot of blood. All I remember is him rushing forward to catch me and then I blacked out.
