Glory prodded Tsunami, who promptly glared at her.
"STOP DOING THAT!"
Sunny giggled. "It's funny."
Tsunami sighed. "It really isn't."
ex-Queen Coral bounded into the room. "Hello, my beautiful daughter, the bride!"
Sunny sighed. "I can not believe it's your wedding, Tsunami!"
Glory nodded in agreement. "I feel like it was yesterday that Riptide did that pathetic proposal."
Tsunami scoffed, offended. "It was not pathetic!"
Queen Anemone looked up. She had been lounging in one of the small pools she had installed around the castle, claiming they were very comfortable. "You called it pathetic."
Tsunami glared at her little sister. "It was small, un-grand, and mildly disappointing, but not pathetic!"
Glory smirked at Tsunami.
Tsunami narrowed her eyes. "Aren't you supposed to be helping me get ready?!"
Coral perked up. "Can I do make-up?"
Tsunami hesitated. "Make-up?"
Sunny rolled her eyes. "Come, on! It's your wedding day!"
Coral nodded enthusiastically. "YES! Just a bit! Something to make your scales a little shiny and bluer!"
Tsunami glanced around. "Fine."
Coral clapped enthusiastically.
Tsunami put her hand up. "Stop being so excited."
Coral nodded, quickly whipping out make-up products.
She held a brush to Tsunami's face, who flinched quickly.
After a small struggle, Tsunami's scales were a perfect shade of blue and shiny.
Glory clipped on a small veil as Tsunami violently squirmed.
"STOP MOVING!"
"Three moons, Glory. IT'S MY WEDDING DAY! LET ME SQUIRM!"
"No. Stop moving!"
Soon after.....
"You may kiss the bride" the minister told Riptide after they said their vows.
Tsunami and Riptide embraced. Everyone headed towards the ballroom for dancing.
As they walked over, Tsunami spotted a pretty blue-green dragon that she didn't recognize. "Who's that?" she muttered.
Riptide followed her gaze. "Oh!"
Tsunami gave him a look. "Yes, who is it?"
"Dolphin." Riptide blurted.
"Who?"
"A friend. An old friend. W-we, um, we have the same hatching day."
"Sure," she said with a tiny squint in her Dolphin's direction.
Tsunami didn't quite believe him, but she felt confident that her HUSBAND (eee, she could say that now!) wasn't lying to her.
And as the day came to a close, Tsunami happily sighed. Her wedding was absolutely perfect. Except for one tiny detail. Dolphin.
