TSUNAMI'S POV

"Tsunami," Riptide said, tugging on my wings.

We had been flying for ages. My wings were already sore from the journey here,  and we were.... I have no idea where we were.

Rip's wings had been nervously flickering for a while, and I was struggling to interpret them. I caught a few words, but the rest seemed to be a bunch of nonsense.

no...moons...turtle...anemone...

"Um," I replied.

A look of sheer terror spread across Riptide's face.

 "Riptide? Helloooo?"

He shook his head and looked at me.

He suddenly started to descent, heading for what appeared to be a tiny teensy teeny island.

I followed him, rather hesitantly. What was here?

Once we landed, Riptide gave me a creepy smile, and started pacing.

His wings were flashing, too fast for me to interpret.

After a few moments, he turned and smiled creepily at me, again.

I stared at him, and watched his face fall after I didn't say anything.

Maybe it was a show? A SeaWing dance? I had no idea, but Riptide looked crestfallen.

I started clapping, hoping to make him feel better. Was this the reaction he wanted? I cheered a little, whispering, "yay riptide!"

He looked confused. "Was that a no?" He asked,

"A..no?" I replied.

"It was a no." His face sagged some more as he said that.

I shook my head. "A no to what? What was the question?!"

Riptide held his face in his talons, murmuring to himself.

"A little louder, please."

"Wlumrm," Riptide whispered.

"I...what?"

"Mryme?" He repeated.

"Murder you?" I asked, slightly annoyed at him.

"MARRY me?"

It took a moment for his words to sink in, and a slow smile spread across my face.

"YES!" I shouted, jumping into his arms.

He swung me around, smiling broadly.

---------------------

"He muttered it?" Glory asked.

"Well yes," I replied.

She snorted. "How lame. No 'You're my world, you are the reason I live, you complete me'?"

"Yes," I said, noticing the edge of defensiveness in my voice.

Sunny laughed. "Wow."

"Hey," I snapped.

Anemone laughed too. "No need to get all defensive, Tsu."

"I'm NOT!"

"You totally are," Glory said.

I glared at all of them. "Fine!"

Sunny smiled a little. "No ring? No down on one knee?"

I sighed, "No. To be honest, it wasn't all that amazing."

Mother entered the room smiling broadly at me. "Ooh, but your wedding will be FABULOUS!"

"Yeah," Anemone agreed.

"Grand, huge, elegant!" Sunny said, sighing dreamily.

I winced. "Um, we're going to have a tiny wedding."

All of them stared at me, wide eyed.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing," they said in unison.

"It's just..." Glory started.

Sunny finished, "not very you."

"He wanted to elope, but we compromised."

"You do you," said Anemone.

We continued the night, but it left me thinking.

I was going to do me. After all, it was MY wedding. Oh, how EXCITING! I'm getting marrrieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed! Oh ew. I never thought I'd say that. Oh, who cares! I've got a wedding to plan!
