Chapter 2 - The New Girl

      It took me ten minutes. 9:12. I sighed and walked inside. I nervously made my way to the lady's desk. There was a guy sitting down in a chair facing the windows. "Yes?" The lady asked me looking at my hair and skateboard. "I'm new here..Alexia Spaulding." I said quietly looking at the floor.

"Okay here is your schedule..locker number and combination, excuse to get to class and a map of the school. "Jack be nice and show this girl around you have the same classes." The lady said before handing me my things.

  This Jack kid stood up and faced me. We stared at each other for about 2 minutes. It was like in the movies when you hear nothing and only see each other. It was..love at first sight?

Don't be stupid Alexia this is Jack..Jack Hoppus..He would never love you. Who would ever love me? Why am I suddenly talking about love?

Jack looked at my shirt and muttered something. "Uhmm hey can you show me where my locker is I need to put up my board real quick?" I asked looking down. "Oh-uh-of course." Jack stuttered walking in front of me.

   He grabbed my map and locker number and immediately started walking. I quickly followed looking around the school at all the lockers, restrooms, posters or flyers for no bullying and clubs. "And here we go." Jack said stopping in front of locker 4182. I smiled cause it reminded me of Sum 41 and Blink-182. I put my board in the locker and shut it.

  "Now to first period." Jack said looking at his 'Hi My Name Is Mark' watch.  "Nice watch." I told him looking up at his blue eyes. He looked just like his father. "Thanks, nice shirt." He replied as we continued walking.

 "Are you a huge fan of blink?" He asked looking down at me walking slower. "I am actually. Ever since I was baby. My dad used to play blink, Green Day, and other bands ya know then Fall Out Boy and All Time Low." I told him.

"Wow how old are you?" He asked smiling. "I'm 17." I replied as we reached English. "You?" I asked. "17." He answered quietly as while opening  the door.

    "And why are you late again Mr. Hoppus?" The teacher asked giving me and Jack a dirty look. "I was called in to show her around, cause we have the exact same classes." Jack answered handing him a note. "Well take a seat Hoppus, and you are?" The teacher asked me.

   "Alexia Spaulding." I replied trying not to have a panic attack. "Nice last name.'' Jack quietly told me smirking. I gave him a small smile. "Well take a seat next to Jack in the back of the classroom," the teacher directed. I grinned and walked with Jack to the back of the classroom.

    "Okay class we are going to be reading Romeo and Juliet. Hannah pass out the books." The teacher said. Jack smiled at me while this girl placed a book on my desk.

We read a few chapters then answered questions about it,  then finally it was 2nd period. I followed Jack.

  "So did you know I was Mark's son since you really like blink?" He asked sounding a bit nervous. "Well after I saw your face I was like holy shh-that's Jack Hoppus, and I didn't want to talk to you and annoy you so yeah sorry if I freaked you out right now." I answered.

    "It's fine people just don't take me seriously because I'm a child of a rock star and they think that I'm gonna fool around and not do work and just drop out or something. And everyone wants to be my friend, and sluts want to get in my pants for money and to meet my dad or something." Jack explained with the look of disgust on his face.

   This girl with long dirty blonde hair wearing a black tank-top and pink skirt that was shorter than her top and pink high heels gave me a nasty look and approached Jack and I.

   She came up to Jack and devoured his face. I sighed and faced the other way.

"Hey Ava." Jack told her in a soft voice.

  That was Ava DeLonge holy crap. Who knew. I turned around and bumped into someone.

   He had green eyes and jet black hair. "I'm sorry." I said trying not make eye contact. "It's fine you're new here right?" He asked me. I could feel Jack's eyes on us while Ava was telling him about some guy that touched her butt.

     "Yeah I am actually kind of lost." I mumbled. "It's okay let me see your schedule." He said. I pulled it out and handed it to him. "Oh we have this class together come on I'll show you." He replied.

  "Hey dude I was showing her it's fine." Jack protested. The guy looked at Ava and I could tell he liked her..body. "Yeah..you know what I'll walk Ava and you can go take Alex,"  He said winking at me. "By the way my name is Andrew."

  "Nice meeting you and thank you." I replied before walking behind Jack. "That Ava girl is my girlfriend." Jack told me breaking the silence. "Yeah I kind of guessed that after she gave me the look 'Step off my man bitch'." I replied causing him to laugh. "I just know she's cheating on me. I'm to scared to say anything to my dad cause Tom and him are best friends. I didn't even wanna date her." He told me looking away.

   "I know, her and that Andrew dude looked pretty close. But, don't worry Jack things will get better. One day you will find a nice girl." I told him trying make him feel better.

  "Thanks Alex."

"No problem." I replied as we walked into 2nd period.

The day went by quickly.

  "Wanna meet my dad." Jack asked me as I grabbed my board out of my locker. I stopped and stared at him. "Are you serious?!" I asked trying not to scream or pee my pants. He nodded. "Umm sure." I said.

 "Well come on lets go to my car loser." Jack said while we ran out of the school. I put my skateboard in the backseat and we drove off.

 "Should I break up with Ava, I mean she's not even that pretty?" Jack asked me. I sighed quietly. "Well Jack it doesn't really matter by her looks it's her personality. She's very pretty Jack prettier than me. Have you guys been on a date?" I asked. "Yeah we have once...and only once." Jack said keeping his eyes on the road.

  "Well it's your choice Jack, honestly." I answered. "Thank's." Jack said before turning up the volume really loud. "I Miss You" was playing while Jack pulled into the drive way.

"Jack! I can't do this. I am going to pee my freaking pants!" I almost yelled. "You'll be fine lets go." Jack said undoing my seat buckle. We both walked up the driveway.

  "It's fine come on." Jack said putting his arm around my shoulder. "Thank you." I quietly said. "You are welcome." Jack told me as he opened the door.

  "Hey Jack you're home. How was school?"

GUYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSYSYSYYYSYSYSYS is this fic good should I stop and continue the brendon one? Should Jack break up with Ava? I hope you enjoyed this as much as I enjoy writing. thanks for reading. i love you guys xD ~Spaulding
