Chapter 3 - Carry Me Home

*Alexia's POV*

   "Hey Jack you're home. How was school?" A female voice said. "Yeah mom, do you know where dad is?  I want him to meet someone? And school was great," Jack replied while we walked into the living room. "Oh who is it?" I heard Skye say while she walked over to us.

  "My friend Alex Spaulding." Jack said. "Nice to meet you Alex, I'm Skye." She told me shaking my hand. I almost exploded. Skye Hoppus. "Nice to meet you too Mrs. Hoppus." I replied smiling.
  "Will you be staying for dinner?" She asked looking at Jack. "Can she,? can you?" Jack asked the both of us. "I can my mom is on a business trip for a day or two, I think." I replied. "Oh well sure, we are just getting Chinese, so you can share with Jack." Skye said to me smiling. "And your dad's in the room, how's Ava?"

  "She's cheating on me." Jack mumbled quietly. "SHE WHAT!" Skye yelled. A door opened and footsteps came towards us. "WHATS WRONG? WHO'S HURT?!" Mark yelled.

   HOLY TOMARK. I'M SCREECHING.

I looked at Jack like I was about to have a heart attack. "She's cheating on me." Jack yelled to Skye. "And you are?" Mark asked me raising a brow. "Alex..Alexia Spaulding." I said attempting to cover my shirt in any way possible.

  "Nice choice Jack." Mark told him winking. "Wait wait wait, what did you say?" Mark asked Jack. "Ava's cheating on me!" Jack yelled. Jack looked as if he was going to cry.

  "Are you serious! Hell no!" Mark yelled grabbing his phone and dialing..I guess Tom's number. "What the hell. Is your daughter sleeping around or something?!" Mark yelled as Jack grabbed my arm and walked upstairs to his room.

  "I guess Ava and I are done." He mumbled. "That sucks." I said trying not to make him feel sad anymore. "Jack, you and your friend come downstairs right now!" Mark yelled. We walked downstairs slowly.

  "Sorry son, but Ava isn't cheating on you." Mark told Jack and he sighed. "But guys always look at her and this one guy walked her to class." Jack told him. "You are her boyfriend why didn't you walk her?" Mark asked. "Cause I had to show Alex around school." Jack replied.

 "Oh well that doesn't matter. Now who is she?" Mark asked smiling at me. "I'm Alexia Spaulding but just call me Alex or Spaulding." I answered. "Nice last name. It reminds me of my younger days." Mark said sighing happily.

 I smiled. "Thanks."
  "SOOO you like my awesome band?" Mark asked smiling while Skye motioned us to sit down on the couch. "No. I love your amazing band." I replied. "Thank you that means a lot, but yeah I just wanted to ask about you. Jack, you and Ava are still for sure dating though." Mark replied shaking my hand.

  "Oh okay well we'll be in my room." Jack said while we both walked upstairs. The door bell rang right when Jack closed his bedroom door. "Jack. Ava and Thomas are here." Mark said. Jack sighed. "Hide in my closet just in case Ava comes upstairs or something." Jack directed.

I sighed and sat down in his closet. "What if your dad tells her that I'm here or something?"
  "Just wait for me. Everything's gonna be fine." Jack told me while turning on the TV. "Jack can you please come downstairs!" Skye yelled. "Just stay here, I'll be back promise." Jack said quickly before exiting the room. "I'm sorry Jack." I said quietly. I guess he didn't hear me.

 *Jack's POV*

 "I'm sorry Jack." I heard her soft voice say. I just wanted everything to stop so that way I could turn around and hug her.

   "Ava would like to say something." Tom announced. "I'm sorry you thought I was cheating on. It's not my fault I'm hot." Ava said causing my mom and dad to both roll their eyes. I smiled.
