Chapter 4 - Fighting The Gravity

*Jacks POV*

I helped her into my car and quickly ran to the other side of the car. The faster I could get in there and talk to her the better.

  I connected my aux cord to my phone and played In Too Deep by Sum 41. A great band my father showed me a while back. She gave me a small smile and started nodding her head a long to the beat.

 

  Oh my goodness this girl.

"So, did you like talking to my parents?" I asked as I drove off. "Heck yea! It was so fantastic. You know how long I've been waiting to meet your dad?" She questioned. "How long?" I asked quite amused with this question.

 

  "For 15 years!" She excitedly answered. "Same." I replied. She laughed and gently hit me on the shoulder. I let out a tiny laugh. "So where am I taking you?" I asked her, now a bit serious. "Uh just down the street and the house at the very end."

  I nodded and continued driving slowly. I finally made it. "Hey do you wanna stay over, and maybe we can, um, watch a movie and I could make us tea or something?" She asked me. I looked at my phone it was 7:13. "Sure why not." I replied"

  I finally made it to her house and I pulled into the drive way.

I ran to the other side to open the car door for her. I'm so glad my dad actually taught me manners.

She thanked me and grabbed her board from the backseat. I smiled and pulled out my phone. I snapped a picture of her from behind. She turned around and started laughing.

 "Why are you laughing?" I asked while beginning to join her.

"Because, that was so unconcealed, like the way you took the picture. Unless you were trying to make it obvious." She answered while closing the door gently.

"Oh, well I just wanted your reaction." I told her while we walked up her driveway.

"Well, you definitely got it." She mumbled back.

I continued to shake my head until we finally reached the doorway. She pulled out a key and opened the door.

"Very nice house you got here." I told her as we walked in. She made a noise and nodded her head. I closed the door and locked it.

"Wanna come see my room?" She asked while placing her board in the closet by the door.

"Um sure." I replied while we started walking up the stairs. Mid-walk she stopped in front of me, causing me to crash into her back.

 She giggled a bit. "Oh um sorry never mind about the room thing. I have a lot of stuff in there..I uh need to figure out." She ended up telling me a bit hesitant.

 "Oh, uh that's fine." I told her trying to make her feel a bit better.

She smiled at me and we walked back down the stairs.

 "So wanna pick out a movie while I make the tea?" She asked.

"Sure." I replied somewhat enthusiastic, I mean I was, but I just didn't want to get overly excited and freak her out oh wow. Am I talking too much?

 She led me to a shelf filled with movies, which was very organized.

"Oh woah. How long did this take you?" I asked looking at all the different sections.

"Not that long since we have labels on each section." She answered with a smile glancing at the shelf.

 "That's too cool." I complimented.
