Chapter 7 - Some Girls Try Too Hard

*Alexia's POV*

        The week had quickly passed and it was finally Friday morning. One day till this "big" party everyone has talked about. Rumours flying about who's going with who and apparently me and Jack are now the next huge couple, which is odd.

I put on a light blue polo with a black cardigan, khakis, and paired this outfit with some regular vans. I straightened my hair and applied a bit of eyeliner. Getting up from my seat feeling finished and successful. It was Friday, so I was automatically put into this good mood.

I grabbed my bag and started heading downstairs. Doing a double take I realize Mark and Jack were already here conversing with my mom. I shake my head and smile walking over to the kitchen.

 "Not even gonna greet the special person giving you a ride to school?" Mark asked me while following me into the kitchen. I let out a giggle. "I didn't think I had to. We all know you already knew of my presence. The feeling was mutual Mr. Hoppus." I replied back knowing he would get ticked off. "Mark. My name is Mark, Alexia!" Mark fought back. "Sorry 'Mark' ." I said putting emphasis on his name, finishing the conversation.

  Mark shook his head and grabbed my Capri Sun out of my hand. "Guess me and Jack are just gonna leave ya here." He said before taking a sip. "AWWWWHHHHH HHEELLLLLLNOOOO!" I replied back grabbing the drink out of his hand. We both busted into fits of laughter. 

  "You guys are acting like 9 year old's." My mom told us with a fake annoyed face. "What's my age again?" I responded to her. Mark coughed, "Yeah like we haven't heard that one before."  Everyone laughed. "Well kids and Mark I hope you all have a fantastic day. I gotta get going, but maybe we can meet up for lunch, Mark?" My mom said before kissing my forehead and grabbing her purse. 

   I nodded and walked out the door with Jack following. "Good morning," Jack said giving me a hug. "Well it is now." I mumbled into his chest. I heard him chuckle before he released me. "Ready for the big party tomorrow?" Jack asked me. "Sort of. " I replied back looking into his blue eyes I admire greatly. I have blue eyes as well, but his are more beautiful than mine.

   "Sort of? Man we're gonna get so wasted!!!" Jack joked while Mark walked outside. "Did you just say you we're going to get wasted? Oh how I miss my youth." He said before walking over to the car. Jack and I laughed and then quickly followed behind Mark. 
 
       We all entered the car and headed to school.

      "Hey Alexia, can we talk for a bit?" Andrew said to me breaking me out of my day-dream in the middle of this boring Calculus class. "Um yeah of course, but not now we're in the middle of clas"-"And what seems to be the reason you are talking?" Mr. Ross asked me. "Nothing sir, I was just trying to ask Alexia if she understood this." Andrew defended. "Well try not to talk to Ms. Spaulding, Mr. Shay." Mr. Ross explained before continuing on about some random topic.

    Jack tapped my shoulder and handed me a note. 

 Tell Andrew to back the hell off before I kick his @$$ 

I giggled and shoved the note into my left pocket. Thank God this was the last class. The bell rang and just as I was about to turn left to walk out the door with Jack, I was pulled the other direction. I turned my head quickly meeting eyes with Andrew. "I told you I needed to talk to you." 
 "I didn't think it was this important." I replied back before finally coming to a stop. 
 
 "Would you like to attend the party with me tomorrow?" Andrew asked, he received a light blush on his cheeks. I smiled, "Sorry. I think maybe it's best if you go with Ava and I still go with Jack." I started walking away quickly to save the awkwardness and guilt. "Alright, well I'll see you there." I heard Andrew call from behind.
