Travis's POV

So I've been pranking Katie since I first met her. Of course because I'm a Hermes kid, what else would you expect? My favourite prank was when we put chocolate bunnies on the top of their cabin and they all melted. Katie hadn't been too happy, but Connor and I thought it was hilarious. After a few years of pranking Katie and the Demeter kids, I started to like Katie Gardner, the way her green eyes lit up when she was in the strawberry fields, the way the sun reflected off her brown hair.

I decided today, after the many years I've pranked and tormented Katie, that I was going to stop. I walked into the camp store here she worked and looked around. I grabbed a shampoo and conditioner as well as deodorant. I took the to the counter and grabbed a chocolate bar as well

"Wow, not going to steal it this time Stoll?" Katie asked cocking an eyebrow at me

"Not today, Katie Kat, I'll let Connor do that" I chuckled and paid for the stuff before walking out. I took my things back to the cabin and put them under my bunk. I walked out to the arena and helped Chris teach some of the new campers how to fight.

"Wow, I'm surprised you're not tormenting Katie today, are you feeling okay?" he asked as he swung at me, demonstrating an offensive attack.

I dodged and blocked his attempt "yeah, I've decided I'm done tormenting her" I smiled and swiped at his legs, knocking him to the ground

"Shit" he cursed under his breath "I forgot how good you were" he chuckled and i helped him up "but it's a good thing that you're growing up. We just need Connor to grow up now" he laughed and patted me on the back

We finished training and I headed to the archery range to work on my aim, I wasn't great with a bow, better with a sword or dagger. One of the Apollo kids walked over to me, her platinum blonde hair hung past her shoulders. She smiled and helped me fix my for, hitting the center every time

"Thanks Delilah" I smiled and kept shooting

"Tell me Travis, when are you going to ask Katie out? It's very obvious you both like each other" she chuckled, blushed and ran a hand through my curly brown hair

"I don't know, I might go talk to Courtney to see if she knows what I should do" I said, Delilah nodded and walked away.

I sighed and headed over towards the Aphrodite cabin. I knocked on the door, and Drew opened it "What do you want Stoll?" sh asked putting a hand on her hip

"Is Courtney here?" I asked

"COURT! Stoll needs you!" Drew yelled and walked away from the door.

Courtney walked over, her brown hair pulled up in a messy bun. She had on a pair of white Nike shots and a pink cropped t-shirt "what's up Travis?" she asked leaning against the door

"I need your help, I want to ask Katie out but I don't know how-" she cut me off

"Okay, so this is what we're gonna do. You're gonna go into the forest and find the prettiest flowers out there. You're going to pick her a bouquet. You're gonna write a note asking her to meet you in the clearing in the forest, where you will be holding the bouquet of flowers. I'll get Delilah to get the Apollo cabin to help with music" she said, I looked at her, my mouth somewhat open

"You expect me to remember that?" I asked

"Yes, now do you want to do this or not?" she asked crossing her arms

"Yes" I sighed. After hours of preparing, I left the note on the door of the Demeter cabin and got ready. I threw on a clean white t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans. Put on my deodorant and cologne. Some reason, my cologne smelt like the forest and I loved it. I fixed my hair and slipped on my running shoes before grabbing her bouquet and going out to the clearing. The Apollo kids were in position, hidden behind the trees and bushes. I smiled, everything was perfect
