Beach Wedding (Percabeth)

(the video above is one of my favourite songs and the one I wish to have at my wedding)

Annabeth's POV

I woke up this morning, the light pouring in from the sliding glass doors next to my bed. I sat up and stretched, smiling at the peacefulness of my quiet beach house. I knew this wouldn't last long, it is my wedding day after all. I stood up and tied my white house coat around my body. I walked to the bathroom and turned on the water. I stripped out of my robe and climbed in the shower, washing out my blonde curls and shaving. I grabbed my 'pretty as a peach' body wash and washed my body before climbing out of the shower. I wrapped my head in a towel and tried my body, putting my robe back on. I walked out of the bathroom and saw 4 girls sitting on my bed, smiles on their faces. Reyna, Piper, Hazel, and Katie all sat on my bed. I rolled my eyes and grabbed my bra and underwear from the chair. I turned my back to them and put them on before redoing my robe up

"Are you ready Annabeth?" Piper asked me, her inner Aphrodite coming out

I smiled "I am," I said playing with my ring. It was a beautiful dull-band ring, one band was curved slightly to make room for the other band, with a simple diamond embedded in the band. The other band had a large pearl in the center, with diamonds branching off on either side of it. Percy had told me he'd found the ring at the bottom of the lake at camp when he was younger, and had forgotten about it till a year ago.

Piper sat me down and started drying my hair, letting it's natural curls form. When my hair was finally dry, she started to style it, she pulled back two pieces of hair from the sides of my head by my ears and braided them, tucking pearls and small white flowers in the braids. "What do you think?" she asked, I smiled

"I love it Pipes" she hugged me and proceeded to do my makeup while all the other girls were doing their makeup and hair. I applied my foundation and Piper did a natural smokey eye on my lids, giving me winged eyeliner with a line of silver glitter eyeliner on top. She applied a thin layer of contour and blush on my cheeks as well as highlighter under my eyebrows, on the tip of my nose, corner of my eyes, cheeks and cupid's bow. I grabbed my lip gloss and applied a layer before helping Piper clean up.

There was a knock on the door, I walked over to the door and saw my mother in law "Annabeth" she smiled

"Sally" I smiled and hugged her, she had a letter in her hand. I realized what it was and remembered giving my letter to Poseidon. She handed me the letter and we all sat down in my room.

I opened the letter and it read...

To my wise girl

I remember how nervous and excited I was when I planned exactly how I would ask you to marry me. How that ring burned in my pocket, how I could hardly wait to see your delight and joy when I asked you to be my wife. You were the most beautiful girl in the world to me – I just knew that I had to have you for my own. Thank you for being there for me and accepting the fact that I'll never be that smart. I am grateful that the gods are allowing me to be your husband. My life is so much better because you are here with me.

I smiled at the letter, tears pricking my eyes. I quickly dabbed them away and realized it was time to get 100% ready. I walked over to the bag hanging on the bathroom door and undid it. Inside was my white, strapless, lace wedding dress. I pulled the dress off the door. The bodice was full lace and down the skirt were patterned lace around the top, bottom and down the skirt. I took off my robe and Sally helped me into the dress.

I turned and saw the girls all dressed in their teal, halter top dresses. I smiled and hugged them all. "Annabeth, turn around real quick" Piper said, I was confused but Piper has never been wrong about something, so I turned around. I realized she was pinning a veil into my hair.

It was a simple white veil that came to my waist, no lace or anything on it, just simple. I smiled and hugged her "I love it Piper" she hugged me tightly.

We headed out the door where my father was waiting. He looked at me and smiled. His blond hair was now littered with white streaks, his brown eyes crinkled around the corners "you look beautiful baby" he smiled sadly and hugged me "you're all grown up now," he pulled away but not letting go "I remember the day your mother brought you to me, and I fell in love with you. I'm sorry I wasn't there all the time. I wish I could turn back the clock" he said sadly

"It's okay dad, I forgive you" I smiled and hugged him again. Katie handed me my bouquet of flowers, white roses and blue flowers that I had no idea the name of, I had left her up to that. We walked out of the beach house and down to the beach.

Piper and Jason's daughter Sky was our flower girl. Her brown hair was pulled up in a nice bun and she was wearing a cute, white, poofy dress. She threw the blue petals around where she was walking and made it to the end where she sat with Juniper

Reyna walked out with Grover, Katie walked out with Travis, Hazel walked out with Frank, Piper walked out Jason. They all made it to the end of the aisle where Percy was waiting. My father gave me his arm and we walked down towards the love of my life. I felt the sand between my toes as I had refused to wear shoes today.

When we got there, my father placed his hand on Percy's shoulder "you hurt her and she'll kill you" he chuckled and went and sat with my mother, step mother and brothers. I took Percy's hands in mine

"Hi seaweed brain" I smiled

"Hi Wise girl" he said.

The ceremony began as Chiron led it "we are all gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of Perseus Jackson and Annabeth Chase. They should be thankful we're all here, this much godly blood" he chuckled along with everyone else "If anyone objects, please speak up." I looked around, everyone had smiles on their faces "alright, let's continue" he smiled. Chiron turned to Percy "do you Perseus take Annabeth to be your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, till death do you part?" he asked.

Percy's sea green eyes never left mine "I do"

"And do you Annabeth take Perseus to be your lawfully wedded husband for worse or for better, to love and to cherish, till death do you part?" he asked

I smiled "I do"

"You may now say your vows" Chiron said

"Annabeth, we've been through hell and back, literally" he chuckled along with everyone in the crowd "I remember those horrible nights waking up with nightmares, you would come to my cabin and lay with me till we both fell asleep. You've been my best friend since I was 12 years old, and I should have realized I loved you then. I love you Wise girl, and I promise to protect you with all I am and all I have" he smiled, tears in both of our eyes

"Percy, when we went on that first quest together, I knew you'd be one of my best friends for life. Then when we found Nico and Bianca, I began to fall in love with you, and I should have told you. But when I kissed you during the labyrinth, I was afraid I wouldn't see you again. Every battle we've faced you were right there next to me. When Hera took you away from me, I spent every waking moment trying to find you, asking Grover" I chuckled "when you fell into Tartarus with me, that was the moment I knew that I was going to spend every day of my life with you. I love you, Seaweed brains and all, and I promise to always be by your side and fight every battle with you" I said, a tear dripped down his cheek

Chiron pulled our white gold rings out of his pocket and handed them to us. Percy slipped the ring onto my finger, and then I slipped it onto his. I held his hands, a huge smile on my face "I now pronounce you man and wife, you may kiss the bride" he smiled

Percy wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close, his lips meeting mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck. Everyone cheered behind us.

I pulled away and looked at my husband, my husband I smiled

"COME ONE BOYS, KEEP TRADITION, INTO THE LAKE!" Clarisse yelled. We were lifted up by the crowd and thrown into the water. I smiled and kissed him, wrapping my arms around him, and this, was the second best underwater kiss.

I like the way I rewrote this one, I put more detail in it than I did the first time. I hope you all liked it as much as I did
