Jack's POV
The doctor came and gave a brief summary of my injuries. And by brief I mean long and boring lecture full of words I didn't understand through the majority of it. So to sum it up, I got some pretty bag third degree burns on my leg and some smoke inhalation. Plus a slight sprain in my wrist again but it didn't require bandages.
I had to explain to Dodger why I called her an idiot and she just blamed it on the medication I was on but I knew it wasn't that.
When the doctor finally finisher his long boring lecture he told me I could go home the next day. He asked me what I wanted and all I asked for was a pen. He gave a strange look before nodding and walking away.
After having a quick conversation with Mary, who had taken over Dodgers place of keeping me company, the doctor returned and gave me a blue pen.
I thanked him with a smile and turned to my arm and stopped. Should I tell Mark? He literally only just got back home and probably doesn't want to hear that while he was still on the plane I was caught in a fire and nearly killed... I'll tell him later, but not now. I don't want to make him worry more.

I gave a brief summary if what happened, having to ask Mark to wash our arms a couple of times from how long the story was, and waited for his reply.
Was Aaron arrested?
He's in police custody while being monitored due to third degree burns all over his body.

His question left me thinking. Am I really okay? I'm alive and breathing but is that classified as being okay? How are people okay? What do people need to be okay? Oh god what am I thinking?
