A young girl of 8 was sitting in her room, looking outside the window.
She was smart for her age. She had already jumped many classes.

But today she clutched a letter in her hands, wanting it to be true. Needing it to be true.
The girl had read the letter many times.
And had already sent a reply back. She wanted to attend the school.
She believed in magic. She had seen so many things around, which did not make much sense.
People disappearing, monsters from Greek legend's.

Today she was waiting for a teacher from her new school, she was waiting looking out of her window, with her small bag which had a little of her savings and some money her uncle gave her along with a sandwich. Her letter was clutched in her hands.

Soon there was a knock on her front door.
She took a long breath. Then went to open her house to the professor.

She was very smart for her age. She turned 8 a few months back, in March.

Professor: hello miss Jackson, I'm Albus Dumbledore. The headmaster of hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardary.

Sally: hello professor, please come in.

The headmaster smiled, at the young girl.
He was offered water and tea with sandwiches. When he sat, which he politely declined.

Dumbledore: I hope you read my letter miss Jackson.

Sally nodded.
Sally: I have some questions though professor.

After getting a nod from dumbledore, the girl continued.
Sally: why was I invited to join the school, before 11. I'm only 8.

Dumbledore smiled, then answerd.
Dumbledore: your parents were very bright students, so were your adoptive patents. I taught them all once. They graduated early. I know you jumped a few classes, you show great potential.
And hogwarts thought you were ready to attend the school, so a letter was sent to you.

At this the girl nodded. Soon they finished all their questions, and went outside to appariate.

When they landed in Leaky cauldron. A young man greeted them, who was the bartender in the inn.

'Tom' bartender: hello professor, what can I get you?
Dumbledore: nothing today Tom, just taking a hogwarts student to diagon alley.

After a quick talk, they went inside the diagon alley through the brick wall passage.
The young girl was mesmerized by it.

Dumbledore chuckled.

Soon she went to gringrotts, where she was taken into a private chamber.
The goblin explained the tests and how it will show the inheritance which she will have to claim, and the few vaults which she can use now.

She was asked to drop three drops of blood on a parchment.

It to another few minutes till she could read the parchment. When the goblin saw it, he was shocked. He asked her to read it in private and not to discuss it with anyone.
He then took her to her student vault, and have her a key.

She saw a few chests, with names. Along with some boxes filed with jewelry and different precious stones, a wall filed with armor and weapons. Traditional and modern. All Greek and Roman. Magical and Muggle. Some even goblin made.
She found a bag with her name on it. She took it. And then found some books. She started keeping the books in her bag. Then took some money. Both Magical and Muggle. She took a handful of strange looking coins.

After that she saw her parents name. She went and saw a set of rings, a watch, a hairpin, a bracelet and a locket.
She quickly found a box and placed those things inside, and kept it in her bag. Then exited the vault.

She met with dumbledore in the lobby.
And soon finished all her shopping. She got her wand.
It was 10 inches made of olive wood. With a beautiful water lily engraved on it. It had twin cores. A Phoenix feather and a unicorn tail hair.
The wand was dark grey in color, with olive specks.

After getting all her stuff. She was given an option to stay at another students home, and get to know each other, and make friends.
She was fine, but asked if she could get some things for the family first, as she would be living with them.

She soon got lots of chocolate and a diary.

After that dumbledore apprated her to the entrance of Lupin household. If was surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants a greenhouse. And a small lake.

She was greeted by a boy, a few years older then her.

Dumbledore: hello Mr lupin, this is miss Jackson she will be joining hogwarts with you this year. And she will keep you company till school starts.

Sally smiled and introduced herself. She came to know the boy was 11 and his name was Remus and he loved reading books. And staying outdoor.

She met with Mr and Mrs Lupin.
Sally did not ask about his scars. But continued talking about muggle books she had read.

After talking for a while, she was given the only guest room to stay in. It was small but it was perfect.

She quickly read the parchment she got in gringrotts the wizarding bank.

It gave her information about her parents and adoptive parents. Along with her this to the godly side of her family. Both Roman and Greek.
She took out the bag and the letter she saw her name on in the vault.
She quickly read the letter then. Started arranging all her books in one part of her trunk. And the other with a few weapons and armour, and then some jewelry above it some more books then her clothes and in the last corner she kept her school stuff.

She had already linked her parents ring's to the locket. She wore her mother's hairpin and then attached her parents watch and bracelet together. And wore it.

She then started reading many books. She started up all night reading. First all her course books.

The hours turned into days. Days into weeks.
She helped in kitchen, and small things. Then she would talk with Remus for sometime. Then they both will go read their books. She gave a few of her muggle books to Remus.

It was after nearly 3 weeks, when they went in diagon alley to get school things for Remus.

She asked if she could visit. She needed a few clothes.

She went to gringrotts and took money that should last her almost 2 years. Then went to get some extra potions ingredients. And some new books and a few clothes that would atleast least her 2 to 3 years.

She got Remus an owl, as a present.
Then they went to get ice creams.

The rest of the days went in a blur.
They became good friends even with the age gap.
