I am walking through a maze again.
And again there is pure darkness with only a glimmer of light that was erupting from me.
Strangely I was able to move freely throughout the maze this time... No one was controlling me or suffocating me like before. Instead, I followed the strange warm presence that seemed so familiar to me.
I weaved through the maze using only the light that seemed to glow off me and my pull toward the warmness that seemed to be calling out to me...
I walked blindly until I heard the sound of leaves crunching. I titled my head to the ground seeing a trail of autumn leaves, the warm presence enticed me to continue walking so I did.
I made my forward looking toward the ground and stopped when the trail had come to an end. I looked up and gasp escaped my lips.
The warm presence had become so overwhelming as I looked toward Sumi who was lying there unconscious, in a state of sleeping.
She was wearing a long peach floral dress and her hands were clasped together amongst her stomach. Her hair was neatly tied up not open and free the way she liked to keep it and her rose lips were parted exhaling and inhaling small intakes of oxygen. Her eyes sealed closed with her long eyelashes protecting those precious coffee coloured orbs.
I outstretched my hand to caress her delicate soft skin only to come into contact with a force field that seemed to trap her within this deep dark abyss. I flinched back grasping my hand in pain.
'Beautiful isn't she?' I heard a cold voice echo in my head. A dark shadow seemed to reveal itself from the darkness and slowly taking steps forward.
"What have you done to her?!" I gritted out.
'I have saved her that is what I have done. She is safer with me than she ever was with you. She is mine and only I understand her!' The deep voice aggressively spoke in my head.
'I don't understand anything... Just who are you and what do you want with Sumi?" I questioned trying to work out everything.
He tutted at me and shook his head before his eyes flashed in the darkness ablaze with irritation.
"Questions... Too many questions Kim Minseok" He began to move forward towards me and I helplessly attempted to reach towards Sumi again each time crying out in agony. My hands burned each time I rapidly attacked the field with all my strength .
'It's helpless. She can't remember you and she won't remember you because I control everything here. I soon shall be able to control time itself." He chuckled as he watched me.
I tried one last time before falling onto the ground feeling drained. My hands were wounded and bleeding out. The figure now hovered above me with a sly grin etched upon his features. I began to feel the sudden rush of coldness invade and attack my body harshly. I felt my blood run cold and my once rapid beating heart was slowing down in a matter of seconds it would soon stop.
"She will...She will remember me.." I gasped out feeling my body become weaker by the second.
I struggled to hold onto life as I felt my body become stiffer and my mind was losing consciousness. Until I felt a small spark of warmth enter my body fighting off the dark coldness. I felt myself regain strength again and a bright light radiated off my blinding the figure as he stumbled back flinching away from the light.
"Impossible... She couldn't have given you her guardianship?" His weak voice was the only thing I heard before blacking out completely.
