It's been a year from that terrible day. I own a treehouse near the portal back to my kingdom, where I visit daily, hoping for any signs of life but have failed. I feel alone. I'm the only one. The only one ever to have magick

I walked down the footpath on my bike with my aqua green bag on my back, with shorts and a casual dark green tee with a collar. My new shoes are nikes with a white tick. Just like a normal person would wear. Don't worry Sim, it'll be ok I thought, walking through the iron gates of human school. There were lots of students in groups all-of-a-kind. My best friends Mea and Amee waved at me with glee and a huge smile on their freckled faces.
"Hey Sim" Mea screamed joyfully. I waved and walked over.
"How's your holidays been?"Amee spoke.
"...Good..." I spoke. My holidays were filled with sadness. I walked all through my kingdom and explored all through The Never Lands (whole magical dimension) in search of life of any kind, but failed. One day I should tell them the truth I thought.
"Hey, Amee, Mea" They looked at me.
"Yea" spoke Amee.
"Is something up?" Asked Mea. Ok, you got their attention; now tell them
"Do you believe magic is real?"
They both looked at me confused.
"Oh, like witches and warlocks" Mea answered.
"..No... Like faeries, pixies, Elfs, mermaids, sirens, centaurs, trolls, banchees, dryads or wizards?"
"No they don't exist, only in fairy tales" Amee chuckled.
"And if they ever did, I'd be surprised."
I looked at her. So that's a no!
"Mea?"
Mea looked up.
"I guess so. I believe in anything!" She murmured. At least someone I thought.
"Why did you ask?" Amee asked, looking at me like prey.
"Nothing" I murmured.
"RING!RING!" The bell startled me and I walked with Mea to class.
"Don't listen to her, Sim. She doesn't have any dreams nor an imagination."
Mea spoke, cheering me up.
"..so... You think they're real?"
"Yes. It is possible."
"Cool..."

We sat down at a table at the front of the classroom where we watched Mr Finch mixing chemicals to create an explosion.
"Science" Mea whispered into my ear. I rolled my eyes. The worst class to be in. Mr Finch looked up from the chemical vials and searched the classroom like an investigator in a crime scene. His eyes locked on me.
"Sim, come here" I put my book down and walked up to the front. He directed me to a high seat in front of the students.
"Miss Sim.... Being the top student of the class, I would like you to identify the this water" I stared at the water in the beaker.
"Normal chlorinated water" I spoke, hands shaking. I wasn't expecting this to be in front of the class, I can't handle presenting in front of everyone.

I looked at the beaker. Don't loose control, don't loose control. I thought, turning my hands into shaking fists. Soon enough, one of the vials spilt onto the beaker, tipping the chlorinated water all over me. The pain in my arms make my teeth chatter. Faeries aren't suppose to touch chlorine, it burns them. I screamed, seeing my arm turn green. I looked at the class, they were shocked. I covered my arm and ran to the toilets. Without even me touching the door, it flew open and I sealed myself in one of the small chambers. Sitting in the toilet seat, I lifted my arm up, searching for a cure.

Meanwhile, back in the classroom.

Once Sim left the classroom, everyone started cracking up laughing. Mea watched them, with worry in her eyes. No one has ever had a reaction to chlorine and even if they did, it wouldn't turn your skin green! Mea stood up. I can't take this joking any longer, I'm going to see if she is ok.
Mea walked past the teacher, who was staring at the beaker, confused. Everyone would be confused. She opened the door and walked into the bathroom.
"Sim, Sim. Are you ok."she knocked on my chaimber.

Oh no. She can't see me like this, I am almost fully green.
"I'm ok" I spoke.
"Let me see you, maybe I could help" she asked with care in her voice.
"It'll only make it worse"
"No it won't"
"Yes it will, I won't tell anyone about how bad you'll look or I won't run away."
A smile appeared on my face. If you trust someone they have a right to know the truth...my mother's last words. "Thank you"
"So can you open the door?"
'Only if you won't run away"
"I promise"
"Promise?"
"Yes, ok I won't"
I unlocked the door and slowly opened it. Mea stared at me wide-eyed.
"What are you?" She screamed.
