"You've gotta be kidding me!" Burn screamed.
"Give up being human or kill the entire nation? What?" Bree screamed.
"Yes and you'll be immortal meaning you have to watch everyone in your family die." I said.
"So, ok. When we go back to the human world will they know about us? And want to take away our powers like zombies and brains or vampires and blood?" Dew whispered.
"Yes and we have to go back there after we meet your elemental spirits"
"So are you saying that everyone wants to kill us?" Bree cried.
"How are we suppose to survive?" Burn screamed.
"Use your powers, silly" I chuckled.
"Ok guys. You will have to meet your spirits and you have to go alone. Listen to the voices, follow them" I whispered, disappearing into thin air and floating away.I opened my eyes, standing on a tree branch, invisible. Destiny and its sacrifices it makes. I'm sorry to have got you into this.
Dew
Where did she go? I thought. I looked at Bree and Burn with caution in my eyes. They had the same look in their eyes.
"Guys, we must listen to Leaf's words! Follow your spirits voices" I spoke. They nodded and headed their separate ways.
"Dew! Dew! Dew! follow the rustling river. Feel it's cool texture and we will come to you" the water spirits whispered. I followed their voice and soon came to a waterfall in a clearing. I held out my hands towards the waterfall, feeling it's cool texture. Once I touched it, it shimmered and blue sparkles surrounded me. Closing my eyes, I concentrated in the flowing sound of the waterfall, feeling the tranquillity and peace it owns. I felt something different once I opened my eyes. I looked down at the pool beneath the waterfall seeing my reflection. My skin was blue and my dress blue, too. But behind me were the most beautiful wings I've ever seen. Beautiful gossamer blue wings matching my wavy dress I wore. I was a real water faerie!
"Dew" the water spirits whispered. Without thinking I flew up and through the waterfall. The feeling of flying made me feel free. Under the waterfall was a cave filled with the drip-drops of the water echoes. A small pool stood beneath me and I touched the surface and closed my eyes, listening to the tranquility of the water around me. Visions of my ancestors and warnings flooded through me. I felt the waters of all the oceans and seas. I am connected to every drip a water drops. It is all a part if me now. I could fell as if I was with them at this very moment.Bree (short for Breeze)
I followed the rustle of the wind and the songs the air spirits sang. It is truly peaceful. I followed the whispers of the spirits.
"This way Breeze this way" they ushered.
I soon reached a clearing. I stared at a huge mountain with lots of stairs circling all the way up to the top. Damn it! I thought as I stood on the first step. A huge gust of wind blew me off my feet and onto the ground. A white mist surrounded me and I closed my eyes. I must've blacked out for a few minutes because when I got up, my legs ached. I sat up, feeling my back ache. Touching it I felt two thin delicate wings. I got wings! I thought with a smile. I looked at my reflection in a pool of water. I looked soo beautiful and practically invisible! My wings were a clear white, matching my dress and clear, pale skin. I looked as white as a dove and felt as peaceful as one too! I felt my wings in the wind and lifted myself off the ground up the mountain. Once I reached the top, I stood in front of a huge temple with the symbol of air carved onto it. I walked in and sat down, realising I was barefoot. Where did my shoes go? The air spirits whispered like they heard my thoughts.
"You Breeze, the air element faerie are in the mountaintop air temple and here you will connect to all the breeze and the air the wind blows. Meditate and feel the air as it will show you."
I did what they told and soon enough felt all the air as if I was one with it. Visions of ancestors and warnings evoked me. I was one with air.Burn
I stood there, watching the others walk away, mesmerised by their spirits. I listened closely, hoping for directions or something. Nope. Why can't I hear them? I thought. A faint whisper caught my attention and I followed to see who it was from.
"Burn! We can hear you...... You can hear us...... Follow us and we'll show you us!" They whispered.
Really? Follow them. Ha. To where? A volcano? But whatever I should! It's my only option to be safe.I followed the whispers and soon came to a huge bonfire. Not a volcano? I'm surprised! I felt the sudden urge to touch it, feeling it's hot burning texture on my hands. I'm not burnt by the flame! Wow! I thought. I took my hands out of the fire and watched the flame burning on my palm. A rapid wind suddenly blew the flame towards me. I was on fire! But I couldn't feel the burn. All I could feel is the warmth and comfort of the flames around me. It felt so comforting. I closed my eyes and felt the flames around me. All of a sudden, I was lifted off the ground. I opened my eyes and the flames were back in the fire pit. What was making me fly? I thought. I looked at my shadow. Two huge wings stood behind me. I have wings! I have wings! The thought if it made a big smile on my face. A figure made entirely out of fire stood in front of me.
"Hello" I spoke.
"Welcome, Burn to the great endless pit. I am your fire guardian and I will show you what you need to see. We turned to the bonfire and images of my ancestors and the future were shown. Leaf was right! It is terrible, the future! The images vanished within the flames and I turned back to the fire spirit. She nodded her head.
"You are at one with fire, Burn. Every flame ever lit is connected to you. Congratulations! But there is just one thing! Fire is strength and I need you to forgive Leaf for teasing her. Earth's weakness is chlorine as well as something else you should know! Fire's weakness is ice. So do not!!!!Touch ice or you'll have a reaction like leafs but red instead of green."
"So I can still touch water, but just not ice!"
"Yes but you know what happens when fire touches water, it creates evaporation. So every time you touch water, that happens. But drinking it and swimming in it is ok."
I nodded.
