Once upon a time, Jessie and James quit Team Rocket because they were bored trying to catch a stupid yellow rat for 20 years. Once while they were walking in the mall, Meowth "accidentally" pushed James into Jessie and it ended up with them making out.
Ever since then, they were SOOOO in love. They even got married and made cute little babies. They had 5 kids and 15 grandkids and 25 great grandkids. Then one day James was walking down the street and tripped on a rock. He fell down on his face and died.
After that, the anime world exploded.
