As 6Lack 'PRBLMS' blasted through his speakers, Keith sat on his bed, smoking a blunt. Late at night was always when he lit one up and thought about things. He was currently going through a hard breakup between him and his old girlfriend. They decided to break it off because it wasn't working out for the both of them. She was doing her own thing and he was doing his.

I got real shit to stress about,

Keith inhaled in the smoke and exhaled it, blowing out little circles. There was a sudden knock on his door, but he didn't hear it through all the music blasting through the house. Keith's phone suddenly lits up and vibrates, rapidly. Keith looked down at his phone and saw "Day One 💛." He turned down his music and answered his phone.

"Hello?" Keith says while inhaling the smoke and exhaling it again.

"Keith, unlock the door!" His bestfriend, Y/n, screams through the phone. Keith chuckles a little and puts his blunt out.

"I thought I gave you a key," Keith says while standing up and stretching. He puts on his basketball shorts and fixes his chain, which was dangling around his shirtless chest.

"Yo' ass know you never gave me no key to yo' house!" Y/n screams through the phone again. Keith scrunched his face up and hangs up. He jogs down his wooden steps and goes to unlock the door. When he opens the door, he sees Y/n turned with her back facing him. When she realizes he opened the door, she turned around and walked into the house.

"Hey little girl," Keith says while hugging her waist and putting his chin on her shoulder. Y/n pats his arms and smiles.

"Hey stupid," She says while walking towards his kitchen with Keith trailing behind her.

"What you doing here so late? It's 1:00 in the morning." Keith says while sitting on a stool next to the island.

"Couldn't sleep, wanted to see you." Y/n says while grabbing the box of Fruity Pebbles and pulling some into her bowl. She grabs the milk and pours it. Keith watches her pull the milk into her bowl. "What you doing up?" She then says while putting the milk back in the refrigerator and starts eating her cereal.

"Couldn't sleep, up smoking and thinking." Keith says while sighing. Y/n looks over at him and rolls her eyes. "You promised me you'd stop smoking weed, Tyree. " She says, shouting a little.

Keith chuckles and rubs his chin. "You know why I smoke, baby girl."

"We," Y/n motions to the both of them. "Both agreed on you to stop smoking over that girl, Keith. All you need to do is focus on you. Like I told you Keith, she was fuckin' with somebody else way before y'all lil break up." Y/n says while shoving the spoon full of cereal in her mouth.

"I know, I know. It's just Jade and I been together for 2 years and I've been through so much with her, you know that." Keith says, tapping on the island.

"I know, but it's very obvious she ain't care too much bout' you Keith. I never liked that two faced bitch." Y/n says while twirling her spoon around in her cereal.

"Didn't see why y'all hated eachother anyways," Keith says while walking towards his refrigerator. Y/n scoffs and whips her head towards him.

"Never had a problem with that girl at FIRST. Keith you know she picked them pissy fights with me !" Y/n shouts alittle and throws her head back.

"It was like every time I bring y'all together, y'all would be either ready to fight or y'all bickering back and forth." Keith says while getting out a tub of icecream.

"You know I did that for your best interest," Y/n says while looking over at Keith. Keith scrunched his face up and laughs.

"For my best interest? Really?" Keith says in between his laugher.

"I'm serious!" Y/n says, bursting into laughter. "You know you just never liked her, it was never for my best interest!" Keith says while rubbing his chest, laughing still.

"Whatever you say, Tyree." Y/n says while walking towards the bathroom, throwing her milk down the toilet. When she is done, she flushes it and walks back to the kitchen, washing her bowl and spoon out.

"Staying tonight?" Keith says while putting the tub of icecream back in the freezer. Keith then walks up the wooden stairs with Y/n trailing behind him.

"Of course, I ain't going back home." Y/n says while throwing her hair out of her face. Keith chuckles and walks towards his room. As they get in the room, Keith walks over to his stereo and plugs his phone back in. He puts on Nav 'Up'.

Remember feeling broke as fuck,
But Now I'm pulling up in Rover Trucks,
I'm pulling up in Rover trucks now, know these bitches ain't wanna fuck,
Now she give me head outside of Toys R Us..

Keith and Y/n then start jumping around with their head bobbling up in down. This was both of their favorite song.

"Imma put these hoes on blast now," Y/n sings while jumping up and down.

"Cash found me, I got cash now!" They both scream while jumping up and down. After a while, they stopped jumping around and laid on the floor, side by side.

"Can I ask you a question?" Keith says while breathing hard.

Y/n looks over at Keith and stares at him. "Yeah, wassup?"

"Why don't you let a boy in your life anymore?" Keith says while turning his body so he can stare at her completely. Y/n smiles weakly and looks back up at the ceiling.

"Scared of Heartbreak," Y/n says while sighing. "Also scared of getting cheated on, lied to, and all of that stuff." She says while looking back over at Keith.

"In a relationship, there's always going to be ups and downs, babygirl. There's no such thing as a perfect relationship." Keith says while pulling some of her hair out of her face.

"That's why I'm not ready for all of that." Y/n says while staring into his eyes as Keith stares into hers. Y/n looks away quickly and starts picking with his gold chain.

"You are so cute," Keith says while pulling her hand away from his necklace and holds it. Y/n blushes and looks away from Keith. "Why everytime I compliment yo' cute ass, you look away?" Keith questions Y/n. The song changes to Jacquees 'Bounce'. Keith smirks and pulls her body close to him.

"Because ... " Y/n trails off while smiling over at Keith again. Keith kisses both of her cheeks then he kisses her lips. Y/n kisses back with no hesitation. Keith gets on top of her and holds her body under him. Y/n wraps her arms around him.

After a few minutes, Keith slowly pulls away. Y/n opens her eyes and stares up at Keith.

"Can I make love to you?" Keith says while holding both sides of her face.
