My eyelids flutter open, attempting to establish the blurry surroundings. Everything started fading in and I could see what the settings were: the Infirmary. Great. The pale grey walls were drab, and the hospital bed I was laying in was covered with a plain blue grey, itchy blanket. I was no longer dressed in my work clothes, but a paper gown. And My copper legs lay bare in the bed. A single potruding needle hung from my arm, which was a surprisingly place color, compared to my normal skin. My eyes rolled crazily in my skull as I thought back to what happened. It hit me like a wave. Yulak attacking me. Zalad carrying me away.

I moaned. There was a shuffling to my side and I noticed for the first time that the Prince was standing off to the side, whispering to the nurse.

"Hi." I called out, my voice hoarse with dehydration. He smiled and pointed out my waking self to the nurse before exiting the doors, all elegance filling the room following him out.

The nurse held out a silver cup, which contained a light blue liquid. I stated at her skeptically.

"What, do you want me to drink that?" I asked.

The nurse scoffed. "No, I want you to stare at it all day. Take the cup." She thrust it towards you.

Doubtfully, I grasped the cup and held it to my lips.  It smelled horrid; like decaying food. I tilted it and poured the mysterious liquid down my throat, trying not to gag but failing miserably.

"Ugh! What the hell was that?" I ask, a look of disgust showing.

The nurse grinned. "A magic potion. It'll make you feel better."
She then grabbed the cup from you and walked briskly away, leaving you to stew in your own juices.

After a few minutes of just sitting in the cot, you flung the blankets off and jumped down. I looked down at what I was wearing. I was still dressed in the cleaning outfit from earlier, and blood was soaking the dress and apron. Looks like I have to change.

Grumbling, my one flesh foot and one metal foot padded on the ground as I snuck to my room. Every other step, there was a loud bang from the copper foot. I grimaced and hurried the pace.

Eventually I was in my room and I was stripping of my bloodied dress. I went to the small cardboard box which contained all of my clothing.

I pulled out a pair of black skinny jeans and a black long sleeve. I rarely got to wear these clothes, as Servants can only wear out work clothes while in public.

I gripped my combat boots and slid them into my feet. There was a loud slam as someone knocked on my door, causing me to practically jump out of my metal.

"Hello?" I called out. I edged towards the door.

"Servant Kala? It is I, Nathaniel. May I come in?" A voice replied from outside of the room.

Oh God. The Prince is coming in my room. "Um, sure. Come in." I stutter.

The door creaks on it's hinges, and in walks the Prince of Zorflad. He scans the room, from left to right. I fidget a little, and his eyes focus on me.

"Servant Kala, how are you feeling?" He asked, a genuine look of concern in his eyes.

I pick at my nails before answering. "Um, fine. Feeling better." I clear my throat.

I suppose he sensed my discomfort. "Servant Kala, I have a question for you. Did you ever know someone by the name of Carrie Sald?"

I cross my arms. "Yeah, that's my Aunt's name.  Why are you asking Pri- Nathaniel?"

He takes a step forward. "Kala, you need to come with me. Pack up your bags. We are leaving at the crack of dawn."

My hip juts out. "Oh really? You waltz in here, ask who my aunt is, and then just expect me to go on some mysterious journey with you?"

Nathaniel squints his  eyes. "Yes, I do. I am your superior, Servant Kala. We leave as soon as possible. I suggest you pack."

"And what if I don't come with you?" You question.

He replied quickly. "Then I shall just kidnap you. Goodnight, Servant Kala." And with that he just walks back out, quietly closing the door as he does.

Well now what do I do?

I'm sorry I haven't posted in forever! I had taken down the story as I had become anxious and paranoid of someone stealing my idea. I will be updating again soon, although I don't know  when.
