Life is all about how you make it out to be, and I can truly say that I'm happy. I would have never thought in a million years that I would have a one year old daughter, fiance and a career that's bringing in money like crazy. I proposed to Naomi after she had my beautiful daughter Amari Heaven Coly, Amari means a miracle from God and Heaven means from the heavens.
I was a songwriter for Def Jams recording artist. It was a nice ass job. I came a long way from that guy from last year who wanted to end his life and that didn't have his head on straight. Now I was living lavish and wasn't no turning back.
"Lucas!" Naomi yelled in my face.
"What's up love?"
"Could you take those plate of ribs to my dad, I have to change Amari that milk is upsetting my baby stomach" she said the last part in a baby Voice.
"Of course" I grabbed the plate and kissed her lips and Amari cheeks making her giggle.
She made her way upstairs and I headed out into the crowded back yard full of friends and family. We was having a lil get together since we haven't seen our people in months.We no longer lived in Miami we was now residing in Dallas, Texas. This is where my Queen wanted to move, so I made it happen.
"Hea' ya go old man" I said sitting down the ribs on the small table next to him.
"This old man Gone whoop Yo ass you keep playing with me" he said dapping me up and we laughed.
"How's it going?" He Asked.
"Good. Everything is going good so far, just trying to keep my family happy" I shrugged.
"That's good. I can see that Naomi is Happy, you can tell it all in her face"
"Yah. I'm doing this for her and my daughter. I love to see them happy and the smiles on they face everyday I see them it's like I just thank God" I smiled.
"I gained so much respect for you Lucas after you stood up to me when I was pissed at Yall young asses for getting a baby. But I can see it all worked out just fine, cause I'm head over hills for my grand baby" He chuckled. I dapped him up and thanked him.
"Imma go check on everybody. Be Easy old man"
"Do Yo thang son" he chuckled. I walked off to our friends who was sitting Down beside the pool.
"If it ain't the nigga of the hour" Javier said dapping me up.
"What's good my people?" I said dapping everybody up.
"Man this crib is nice as hell dawg"Chris said.
