Throughout the lesson, I couldn't focus. I was wondering and worrying about the dance practice today. The teacher was explaining the concept and everyone was taking notes, but my pencil remained untouched on my desk.
I figured I could ask Jooheon later too, since he seemed pretty smart. He did say that I could tell him if I ever had a problem at this school.
"Alright class, please start cleaning up your supplies and notebooks, the final bell will ring in five minutes." The teacher instructed, and everyone packed up their things, including me.
"Oh my gosh! It's the Bangtan Boys! They're coming into our class!" My class suddenly erupted in screams and cheers from the students as seven boys walked in. They were Taehyung and the other boys I'd met during lunch. What are they doing here? I wondered.
"Hey, Rose." They suddenly called me out.
"Y-yes?" I replied, eyes widening and spine straightening as everyone stared right at me. Whispered filled the room.
"Are they a thing now?"
"Why is Taehyung-oppa calling for her?"
"Isn't she new? She's already befriended the kings of our school? Impressive."
Nice and rude comments mixed together, I didn't know how to feel about it.
"Come on, Rose. Why're you just standing there? We gotta go." Jungkook called this time.
"To where?" I asked.
"Have you already forgotten?" Taehyung said, amused. "Dance?... Ring a bell for you?"
"Oh! Right. Sorry." I stuttered and lifted up the heavy weight of my backpack, heaving it over my shoulder. Although I stood close to the door, I didn't step a foot out from the classroom before the bell rang.
The boys took me to the dance practice room, and one side of the walls was basically a big mirror. "Wow." I said, but then stopped walking when I spotted Yoona.
Once she had seen me too, she gasped and she rushed towards Taehyung. "Oppa~ What is that ugly girl doing here? I want to dance with you only~"
I rolled my eyes at her 'cute girl' act. It so did not suit her. "I'm sorry, Yoona. But Rose is going to be the main dancer this time." Taehyung told Yoona, which made her scowl and me smirk.
Soon enough, I had the dance down completely. I was a pretty fast learner, and because of the guys' good teaching skills, we were able to go even faster. Jungkook, Jimin, and J-Hope were backup dancers for boys, and Taehyung was main. Yoona, and two other girls named Selhyun and Bobbi were the backup girl dancers, while I was the main.
After one last practice of the whole thing through, I was exhausted and practically panting. While I downed a bottle of water, Taehyung started to talk to me. "Are you free this weekend? We could go somewhere fun if you have time."
"I have a family thing, but it's only in the morning. We have plenty of time after that. Is that fine?" I answered.
"Of course. Then I'll plan something out, and go to your house at about noon to bring you somewhere." He told me.
"Sure." My phone started to ring. " 'Cuse me." I stood up to take the call. It was Mother.
"Rose, honey! Ppali (hurry). We need to have a conversation. Come home now, as fast as you can." She instructed, sounding pretty serious. But she always sounds like she means business.
"Ok Mother. I'll be right there." I said and hung up after saying 'see you'.
Right before I left, Taehyung stole my phone and typed in his number, successfully saving it into my phone. "It's so that I can contact you about the weekend plans." He'd told me. Sure.
