"Who did this to you?" I asked, brows furrowed. He started to cough, so instead of asking I rubbed his back, waiting for the cough attack to end. The door swung open again, and Taehyung ran in.
"Where's he?" He yelled.
"T-Taehyung! It was you?!" I asked. He looked down at me, and his eyes softened.
"Oh, flower it's you." He walked over to me while making a peace/V sign and holding it up to me, smiling. "There he is." Taehyung's eyes landed on the boy in my arms.
"What were you thinking, beating a kid up like this?"
"I didn't do that for no reason. He deserved it." He replied. Just then, the teacher walked in and screamed as she saw the boy.
"Oh god, is he alright? Please get him to the nurse's office." She said, and another boy, probably his friend, carried the injured boy to the nurses' office.
As I sat down at my desk, Taehyung sat down right beside me. "W-why are you sitting next to me?"
"Why can't I, sweetheart?"
"Well... I... don't know..." I stuttered on my words.
He laughed. "You're cute, flower. How would you like to spend lunch with me and my friends today?" Taehyung asked, and for some reason my heart wanted to say yes, although I'd already made plans.
"No, I'm sorry. I'm afraid she's already busy hanging out with me." Jooheon came up from behind me and slammed a hand onto Taehyung's desk. "Don't talk to her anymore."
"What?" I whispered to Jooheon. "What do you mean, 'Don't talk to her anymore'?"
"Exactly what she said." Taehyung leaned back casually in his chair and crossed his arms. "Why should I stop?"
"Just... just don't." Jooheon replied and sat back down. Soon after, he tossed a note to me.
-------------------------------------------------------
I told you, be careful with him! He's
dangerous remember? -J
-------------------------------------------------------Although I didn't mean to, the note slipped from my fingers and fell onto the isle in between Taehyung and I. I bent down to pick it up, but he was faster to get to it. His eyes scanned the piece of paper and he looked up, glaring dangerously at Jooheon.
"Why're you trying to get her away from me?" He asked.
"To protect her. From you." Jooheon poked a finger onto Taehyung's chest.
"Ok ok, break it up now you two. The match is over. Ding ding ding." I said and pushed both of them away from each other. "How about this, I'll spend lunch with Jooheon today, and with V tomorrow." I sighed, tired of their fighting.
"Why does he have a nickname already?" Jooheon asked.
"Cuz' I'm special, of course." Once again, Tae held up a peace/V sign up and smirked at Jooheon. "But why's it V?"
"Just look at yourself. You keep on making that peace sign thing or whatever, and it forms a V shape." I explained.
"Oh. That's smart." Tae smiled charmingly, and I heard Jooheon grunt. "And by the way, flower... You said you'd spend tomorrow with me. But what if I don't want to hang out with you tomorrow?" His signature smirk was back. I knew he was just teasing me, but I was lost for words.
"Then too bad, I'll swiftly take her away from you." Jooheon answered for me instead.
"Did I ever ask you? Bastard." Taehyung said under his breath, trying to make sure I didn't hear. But I did.
"So it's decided then. Today, Jooheon. Tomorrow, V. Good?" I asked.
Taehyung gave me a quick nod and thumbs up, and Jooheon just kind of grunted. I felt like I'd gotten him upset, so I needed to fix that later.
