Later that night, you had left Alina's home to find Bill sleeping on your bed. You chuckled slightly, wrapping a blanket over him and planting a kiss on his cheek. You slept on the couch that night while watching |F/S|.

"Bill, breakfast is ready... Bill?" You called from the kitchen, but Bill didn't respond. You sighed, putting the plate of food in the microwave.

You walked up the stairs up to your room. Knocking on the door, you called his name.

No response.

He couldn't have just stayed over your house for a night and then leave. Although Bill would probably be back soon, he wouldn't have left without telling you, would he?

You opened the door to find no sign of Bill. "Come on Bill, stop playing around..." You called again, your voice slightly cracking.

"Bill, this isn't funny..." You said,  getting annoyed with this poorly made joke.

You checked in the bathroom, under the bed, and the closet. Yet, no sign of Bill. He couldn't return to Earth, or Heaven for that matter. And it wouldn't make sense for him to go to the Nightmare Realm again...

After an hour of calling people to ask were he was, you gave up, and waited for him to return.

Something struck you, though. You decided to check in the bedroom again. Looking around the room, you noticed a note pinned to the back of the bed. You pulled it off, and read it.

~∆~∆~∆~∆~∆~

Dear |Y/N|,

I know this is all of a sudden, and I know your probably looking for me... But just promise that you wont forget me. Last night, the incident with Jason... Im in deep trouble with the O.P.A, and it may be a while before you ever see me again. I'm really sorry I couldn't tell you last night, but it was on such short notice and I couldn't stay here... I love you to the bottom of my heart, truly I do. Im sorry...

Bill

You couldn't contain your emotions, tears started to stream down your face. You started to cough on your own spit eventually. Crumbling up the note, you fell down on the bed. Your head pounded from the amount of crying that you had done, and your eyes looked bloodshot.

I knew you were mine

You said you were mine

I thought you were mine

You ran downstairs into the living room. Grabbing your phone, you dialed Alina and Zae's number and told them what happened.

Im rereading the letters you wrote me

I'm searching and scanning for answers

In every line

For some kind of sign

And when you were mine...

Zae and Alina bursted through the door.

"|Y/N|?!" Zae called, looking around for a moment before spotting you. He ran up to you at the couch, engulfing you in a hug.

"Zae..." You sniffled, wiping the snot and tears from your face. Alina ran up to the both of you, sitting on the other side of the couch beside you. She handed you a tissue.

" |Y/N|... It's ok now... I'm here..." Zae rubbed your tangled hair out of your face. You felt Alina tense.

"O.P.A?" Alina mumbled, and you nodded. You had no idea who this organization was, but you envied them.

"I know this isn't the best time, but... Jason was one of the supreme leaders of O.P.A, and... Well, Bill's probably..." Alina suddenly stopped for a moment, deciding it was best not to continue.

You stiffened, cupping your hands in your face. You hated crying in front of people, but right now, you didn't care.

The world seemed to

Burn...

"Well get him back, I promise..." Zae said comfortingly. You sniffled again, wiping the tears off your face.

"Those bastards..."

"Why would he just leave without telling me...?" You thought aloud.

"He probably didn't want to coming along, |Y/N|. I know your taking this a bit harshly, but Bill only left because he cared about your safety..." Zae made  a blanket  appear and wrapped you in it.

"I just..."

"I just want him back..."

   Burn...

"And we'll get him back, ok?" Alina put a arm over your shoulder.

"I promise..."

The death of a sin really didn't matter to you. You only cared for your king. And to him, you were his queen. It was like a game of chess. Alina and Zae were your two knights, but to the other player, they were only pawns. You all were. One by one, you all fell, but leaving you and Bill left. The game was only a trick.  A trick to play with your mind. Until, finally...
