Ducking into a corner, you and Zae quietly hid from the guards guiding the other prisoners into another room. You signalled for Zae to follow you. He looked at you as if you were crazy, but then followed silently behind. You two slid into the back of the line and walked with the other prisoners.
You noticed that all the other prisoners had a metal collar around their necks, which gave you an idea.
"Hey, how about if I get the rest of us outta here, you fight off the guards, eh?" You whispered to another inmate. He scoffed, but seemed interested in your offer.
"Sure, but if it doesn't work, your ass is gone, got that?" He hissed, "And you might wanna do it now, because we're going to the solitary confinement."
Nodding, you balled your hands together until they had created enough energy, and forcefully spread out your arms. The large amounts of energy shook the entire room, and the metal collars on the prisoners had broken off. Not only that, but all of the security systems were shut down.
The inmates went crazy, punching and some burning the officers.
"Good job." Zae panted, running with the crowd. Black and white streaks went past your eyes, and the double doors were wide open. All you had to do was reach it and you'd be free, well, until you suddenly tripped and fell onto another person.
"The hell?!" The guy yelled, rubbing his temples and slowly getting up off the concrete floor. He was strikingly familiar, the blonde hair, the voice, his skin. You soon realized who he was when he looked down at you. His two yellow, cat-like eyes staring at you in shock.
"... |Y/N|?"
