Pictures aren't just moments.
More than that, it's memories.
A reminiscent of moments that we cherish, a series of events, that we caught it still.
Therefore, that moment would last forever in that photograph. We still feel the same vibe, the exact same feeling being in that moment just by looking at it.
The memory of it repeats, repeats, and repeats while seeing it. Like a time lapse.
When we stopped looking at it, we got drifted away from the remembrance of it into the present in just a snap. And every flashbacks happened in just a matter of seconds, and then it's all gone.
Then we come to realise that we're now standing in the world we are in right now, not in the world where the photograph was.
We tend to long for someone's presence, to be painfully missing someone whom stays inside the photograph.
Memories of them running wild across our galaxy of minds. Wishing it would rewind, but it doesn't.
Some of us are trapped in that memory, others of us understood that it's just an indefinable conundrum.
It could only last in our hearts and memories, because that photograph can't repeat itself the same as it did. And it won't happen again, therefore we keep it still, in a photograph.
That way, we could always comeback as much as we wish to.
