Cameron:
I know it probably wasn't my right to tell her, but I could keep it from her. It was eating me from the inside out.
She eventually feel back asleep. The realization hitting her hard.
•
"Siena...wake up."
"what?" She groaned.
"You're basically pinning me down, and I...uhh, I have to pee."
"Fine," she groaned.
I came back not even a minute after to find Siena curled into a ball on one of the balcony chairs, tears falling slowly down her cheeks, pooling under her chin.
"Siena...come here." I didn't even stretch my arm out before she buried herself in my chest.
"Why wouldn't he t..tell me?" Siena chocked out.
"I don't know, babe. I just don't know."
•
To get her mind off of things I decided watching a movie would be a good idea.
We were sat on the couch in a peaceful silence until Siena spoke up.
"Cam?"
"Yeah?"
"Can we see him?"
"Sure, whenever you want babe."
"Is that why he told me he was going on vacation. Because he was going to be in the hospital?"
"Yeah. That's why he brought you over to our table the first day. He knew it wouldn't be long and he felt that if he passed before you found new friends you,"
"So that's the only reason you're hanging out with me," she cut me off, "because you feel bad for me?" Siena asked unwrapping her self.
"Of course not. When Casey first told me that, I didn't even know you. Then I saw him walk in with the most beautiful girl in the entire world and I immediately began liking you."
"Oh, ok. I'm sorry for acting like a bitch," she sighed.
"Well to quote my favorite book; 'That's the thing about pain, it demands to be felt' John Green, The Fault In Our Stars."
"Cam, did I mention you're perfect?"
"I'm pretty sure we mentioned you're the perfect one."
"We both know that's a lie," she scoffed.
"Also didn't I mention I don't lie."
"Yeah, maybe."
•
"If you want we can go see Casey in an hour."
"Ok can I shower here...or is that weird. Wait no, that's weird."
"No it's fine. Really. Go ahead and use mine. I'll use the one downstairs."
"Oh no I can use the one downstairs. Use your own."
"Siena, just use mine."
"Fine," she laughed pulling a smile.
•
I grabbed her two towels, then got myself one. I shut the door behind me and walked down the stairs.
Siena:
Cameron left the room and I locked the door behind him. It's not that I don't trust him, but I don't trust him.
Also, I know it'a his room but what if someone were to walk in without knowing I was here.
•
A knocking sound coming from the door pulled me out of my thoughts.
"Hey Siena, you almost done?"
"Yeah, why?" I lied. I hadn't even washed the shampoo out of my hair.
"Because I need some stuff."
"It should be steamy enough to where you won't see me if you want to just come in."
"What!"
"I'm joking. Can you wait 10 minutes?" I asked washing out the conditioner.
"Yeah, I guess."
"Thank youuu."
5 minutes later I turned the water off and wrapped myself with a towel. I was washing my face when Cameron walked in.
"Oh sorry, I didn't hear the water running so I thought you were done."
"It's fine, just hurry up."
Cameron lied my clothes, and an extra toothbrush on the counter and walked out with hair gel and his toothbrush.
"We have company a lot so we have extra toothbrushes everywhere."
"Thank you!" I called back as he walked out the room.
•
I finished getting ready and hurried down stairs. I walked over to my phone just as it lit up.
*Spencer:)<3 :
Hey, umm I think you and Cameron need to come up to the hospital. It's important. Casey is crying for you, it's horrible to watch. Please come soon.*
I look around for Cam and find him in the garage. He was leaning against his car, wiping a lose tear.
"Hey Cam, you ok?"
"What, yeah, let's go."
"Ok."
We sat in the car for about 5 minutes in complete silence. Till Cameron broke the silence.
"Are you wearing makeup?"
"Oh god, no I'm sorry. I know I look horrible."
"No you look," Cameron spoke taking a deep breath and glancing over at me, "you look perfect."
•
We pulled up to hospital about 10 minutes later.
"Umm...Casey West?" I asked the lady at the front desk.
"Oh sweetie, room 205. It's up the elevator and down the hall to the left."
"Thank you."
The elevator took forever, and by the time the doors finally closed I regretted not taking the stairs.
•
I knocked gently on the door and walked in as all eyes turned towards me.
"Siena." Spencer sighed hugging me.
"Hey. How is he?" I whispered into her ear.
"Could be better. He really wants to see you."
I walked up to the bed and took Casey's hand in mine.
"Why wouldn't you tell me?"
His eyes slowly fluttered open.
"I was going to *cough* today, but I kinda got stuck in *cough* here."
Casey broke out into a coughing fit. The nurses came in a evacuated us out of the room, rather aggressively I'd say.
We all walked over to the couch in the waiting room. When we sat down I saw Cameron and curled up into his chest.
