Chapter 19♚

Casey :

I was surprised when Cameron called me. I thought he forgot about me. I mean, I've been in the hospital for about 2 weeks now.

Cameron and I have been friends for like 7 years. Ever since he moved here actually. It's just like me and Siena. I knew Siena a week before she moved her. We have gotten so close now and I can call her my best friend. Next to Cameron of course.

I'm not going back to school anytime soon. They told me last night some miracle happened and my cancer was shrinking. They always tell you that. I don't know how long I'm gonna last. But I can tell you, I am honestly feeling much better.

Cameron :

"Siena. I'll be right back." Casey spoke as he walked out the room.

"How ya feelin?" I asked. Hopefully she would give me an honest answer.

"Honestly, my head doesn't hurt as bad. My side feels better, but I'm still tired as shit haha."

"Awe babe. I'm sorry." I kissed her head gently. I didn't know if it could her if I pushed to hard.

I grabbed her hand and interlocked our fingers. Casey came back into the room carrying 6 cups of yogurt.

"I wasn't joking dude. Haha." Casey placed one cup down next to me and two by Siena.

"Awe, thanks Casey. I'm starving!" Siena spoke, ripping open the yogurt cup.

"I'll go get you some food. I'll only be gone for 15 minutes." I told her getting up.

"No please," she begged, "please don't leave me."

She had a look of concern. Why was she so scared if I left?

"Alright alright, I promise I won't leave."

"Thank you. I love you."

"I love you too babe?" I don't know if she could here the confusion in my voice. I'll wait till Casey leaves to ask her what's going on.

It had been 5 hours. Casey was almost asleep now. Siena fell asleep for about 3 hours, and was now wide awake.

"Cam?"

"Hey baby, what's up?"

"Can we go home now?"

"Yeah. I think so. Let me go get the doctor."

"No need, I'll get him." I turned my head to an unfamiliar voice. It was a female voice.

"M-mom?" Siena's eyes filled with tears.

"Hey baby girl. Cameron called and told me what happened. I'm so sorry I couldn't have been here. I feel like I've left you all alone. For gods sake you've been I'm the hospital twice and I wasn't even here. I've just been working so hard on finding him and all. Baby I'm so sorry!"

"Mom chill haha. It's ok. I know I know. Don't worry, I got Cameron with me."

I walked over to Siena's bed and lied next to her. I rapped her in my arms and she nuzzled her head into my neck. Here mom then left, I'm assuming to get the doctor. Siena rapped her arms around my waist pulling herself closer.

"Why didn't you want me to leave today?" Hopefully she'll give me an answer.

"Because..... I need you."

"What do you mean?"

"Cameron you mean so much to me. I just want you to stay with me. Like right now. If I could stay like this forever, I would."

"Siena, you know I love you. Baby, I wouldn't trade this time for anything."

I leaned down and kissed her. She rapped her arms around my neck as I scooted her closer.

"Hey! Stop making out for one minute. Eww French, really?"

"Mom! Shut up"

I couldn't contain my laughter as Siena's face brightened. She smacked my arm as I continued laughing.

The doctor walked in behind her mom. He had another bottle in his hands.

"Hey Miss. Siena. Here, I want you to continue taking your pills every 6 hours. I also want you to take these once a day. After you eat breakfast preferably. Other than that, you're good to go."

"Thank you haha."

"Alright baby girl I'll text you later. I love you so much." Her mom said leaning in and kissing her on the forehead.

Siena :

Ahhh I can't wait to go home. I just want to curl up in bed and sleep.

As we walk out of the hospital I grab Cameron's hand. We get to his car and he turns on the heat. Holy shit it's cold. When he turns on the radio I can't help but let out a scream.

"WHAT?!"

"HOLY SHIT CAMERON I LOVE THIS SONG," I started singing, or screaming for that matter, " HEY THERE PRETTY BROWN EYES. WHAT CHA DOIN LATER TONIGHT?"

Cameron started laughing, and the song eventually ended. We pulled up to his house and a giant dog came running towards me.

"JAKE! SIT BOY!" Cameron screamed. The dog sat and I petted its head.

"I didn't know you still had a dog."

"Oh yeah haha. Let's go inside now it's freezing out here."
