Siena:

I groan, "shit Cam."

"What?"

"I left my phone in your car and I have to text Casey back."

"Oh ok, I'll go get it."

"Thank you." I smiled, kissing his cheek as he stood.

"Hey Spencer texted you. I didn't read it, it just popped up as I was walking up the stairs."

"Oh, ok. Thank you by the way."

"Of course." Cameron said, leaning down and planting a kiss on the top of my head.

*From Spencer:)<3 :

Hey your mom called, I told her you were at my house. I take it you're at Cameron's;).*

*From Spencer:)<3 :

She actually bought it. I just told her we were swimming and you were so tired you already went to bed.*

God, Spencer was the best. My eyes then wandered over to a text I was dreading to open.

*From Casey :

Hey, I just wanted to tell you I won't be in school for a while. Don't worry about what I was gonna tell you, it's not that important. I'm so sorry, goodnight Siena.*

"Hey, you ok?"

"Hmm oh umm... I don't know."

"Here, Siena come here." Cameron held out his arms and I cuddled up to his chest, wrapping my arms around his torso.

Cameron:

As Siena curled up and fell asleep on me I grabbed her phone. I re-read the texts between her and Casey.

Oh my god, he's not going to tell her. She would kill me if she knew I knew and didn't tell her.

I woke up to find a beautiful morning Siena starring up at me.

"Hey beautiful."

"Hey lier. What's wrong?"

"It's just Casey. I know why he's not going to be in school, Siena. I just don't know why he hasn't told you."

"Wait, what? Why?"

"He umm...he has."

"He has what, Cameron?"

As Siena inched her way closer to my face, our noses almost touching, I pulled her into my arms.

"Siena, Casey has cancer," I spoke not being able to get my voice any higher than a whisper.
