Dazai saw it too.

He stared at my waist, his mouth slightly open.

"Get Lalisa!" I gasped out, stumbling back as I lost my grip on Lalisa.

I pointed out Lalisa, who was very slowly trying to crawl away.

Dazai glanced at her and quickly ran past the door before coming over to me.

"What about her?" I asked, furrowing my brow.

"It doesn't matter. She can't get very far." He reassured, his hand going to my waist as he held me up.

I bit my lips, "Did you get hit? Anywhere?"

He shook his head and glanced at my waist.

"I'm not the one we should be concerned about." he mumbled softly, placing his hand lightly over the cluster of blood on my shirt and pants.

"I'm fine. Really. Just go get, Lalisa, and try to find Yosano and Ranpo." I said slowly.

My knees finally gave out and I slumped to the ground.

Dazai cursed under his breath and caught my arm.

I yelled out in sudden pain of him pulling my arm.

He mumbled a quick apology before he lowered me on the ground slowly and bit his lip.

"What if I go get Lalisa. Then what will you do? Bleed out? I can't leave you alone, and I can't let you die." Dazai insisted firmly, wrapping the arm he had caught around his shoulder so I could be kept up.

"Just, Dazai, please. Get her. This will all be for nothing if we don't bring her back." I argued quietly.

He smiled slightly and looped his blood soaked fingers with mine. I smiled and nodded.

"I'll be fine. I can take care of myself, you big baby." I whispered, pushing my hand harder against my bleeding bullet wound.

"Go or I'll die before you get back!" I called weakly, laughing as much as I could when Dazai hurried over to grab Lalisa.

From what I could see, Dazai caught up to her before she could turn a corner.

"You aren't even tied up, why are you still at ththe corner?" He asked accusingly.

"State of shock." She muttered, slumping against the wall.

I smiled and sighed of relief, but winced at letting out a bit too much air.

"Y/N." He hurried back over to me and kneeled down beside me.

"Ah, what do I do?" He muttered.

I chuckled and slowly took my hand away from the wound. I struggled and made a hand print of blood on the ground, trying to get up.

"Don't do that! You'll lose too much blood!" Dazai insisted, concerned.

He quickly brought his own hand over to cover my wound. I looked away.

"You don't have to do that." I muttered, looking away quickly.

He sighed.

"If you won't then I will." He replied determinedly.

I sighed and smiled.

"What are we gonna do?" I asked quietly, trying adjust my position without moving my torso.

The door sounded like it was being pelted with rocks again and I squeaked a little.

Dazai cursed harsh words under his breath and the shooters and looked at me.

"I'm going to-" I cut him off my pulling his head to my chest.

"You're shaking." He mumbled , not taking his hand off my waist.

"Nice observation." I whispered gently, slightly inching back every time it sounded like a new bullet pierced the door.

"Get somewhere safe." I mumbled, running my fingers through his hair.

I felt his cheeks heating up.

"I'm not going anywhere unless you're coming with me. You'll die if I leave you now." He complained softly.

I buried my head in the crook of his neck.

"Being shot sucks." I whispered. Dazai laughed softly and pulled away slightly to look me in the eyes.

"As I'd imagine." He whispered.

"Will you two stop verbally making out over there and get them to stop shooting at the door!" Lalisa shouted over the gunfire.

"She has a point." I laughed, leaning back and grabbing Dazai's wrist with my free hand.

"I guess." He trailed off.

"But, how are we going to get you out?"
