Your P.O.V
The next morning, the clouds were gray and it was still dark when I woke up.
"Yosano?" I whispered, peeking around the corner into the kitchen.
Jennie was standing there making coffee while Lalisa was sitting at the small table in the corner of the room.
I let out a quiet sigh and walked in.
"Morning." Jennie said flatly, not taking her eyes off the coffee pot.
I nodded in response and walked over to Lalisa.
"Hi sleepyhead." She greeted. I ignored her and fell down into the chair.
"Why are you so tired?" She raised and eyebrow.
"Why am I so tired?" I repeated, looking down at the table and tracing the wood patterns.
Lalisa looked at me expectantly, "Well?"
"I don't know. Maybe the news we got last night." I replied softly, putting my head down on the table.
"How does news make you tired?" Lalisa questioned.
The look in her eyes suggested she already knew
"You know, stressing, thinking bad stuff about yourself because of it.." I trailed off, my hand coming to a stop on top of the table.
Jennie slightly smiled at me and as she two cups over to the table.
"Here." She offered quietly, placing the cups down
swiftly before walking away and back to the counter.
I sighed and stared at the coffee until I could surely almost burn holes into it.
"It's not poisoned or anything." Jennie said.
"I promise. I wouldn't do that." Jennie said, setting her own cup down on the table.
I gave her a sad look.
"I didn't wonder that at all." I said.
"I was wondering whether I should drink it now or go to the bathroom first." I said lazily.
Lalisa grinned.
"That sounds very strangely like you."

"Now that you're awake, what should we do?" I asked Dazai, who was sitting on a couch staring absently out the window.
"What should we do.." He mumbled, not looking away from the window.
"Are you okay? You're acting a little weird." I said, sitting down in a chair across from him. He looked me in the eyes and nodded.
"I'm fine." He said. I studied his eyes and frowned.
"If you're worried, don't be.. They'll never get me ba-"
He interrupted, "I'm not worried about that."
"Then what's wrong?" He shifted nervously in his seat.
"Dazai?"
He looked away and answered quickly, "Ok, I'm a little worried, but I know you can handle it yourself.".
I smiled warmly.
Some over-dramatic gagging sounds came from the woman with crutches sitting in the other part of the room.
"Shut up." I said, sending a grin her way. She gave me finger guns and smile before going back to drinking her coffee.
I snorted and looked back to Dazai, who was staring out the window again.
"What's out there?" I asked suddenly.
"Hm?" He said, not looking at me.
"What do you see?" I said, walking over to him and trying to catch his line of sight.
"The mafia base." He whispered.
"Oh."
"I'd rather you not think about them if it troubles you.".
"I guess I shouldn't." I replied quietly.
"They're so close, aren't they?" Dazai said. It took me a second to figure out he was talking about the mafia base again.
"That's a little terrifying." I admitted, laughing nervously.
"Yeah. They could come back for us at any moment."
"Ah, no thanks." I said, frowning.
"Yeah.."
"But the sea and skyline are beautiful." I said
pointing past all of the buildings and out into the ocean.
"This really is my city." Dazai mumbled.
