Suddenly, shallow groans sounded from the other room.
Dazai was so close I could almost feel his breath on my lips.
He slowly opened his eyes and leaned back.
"We'll continue later." Dazai mused vaguely, getting up and walking into the other room to check on Lalisa.
I let out a breath I hadn't realized I'd been holding at let myself fall back on the bed.
"That was insane."
Dazai's P.O.V
As soon as I turned the corner, I slumped against the wall and let my hand lightly graze my lips.
"That was insane." I mumbled, my mind going back to my comment.
"I think she's making me go insane." I muttered, walking over to Lalisa's hospital style bed.
"You awake?" I asked, gently shaking her shoulder.
"No." She said, not moving or opening her eyes.
I sighed and shook her shoulders harder.
"You awake?" I repeated. She quickly opened her eyes and glared at me.
"You got shot but you can still glare at me. It's a miracle." I retorted sarcastically, letting my hands drop to my waist.
"It was only my waist, drama queen." She rolled her eyes.
"You too? I thought it was your stomach."
She scoffed.
"You probably hoped that it was my stomach. I would've been dead if that were the case." Lalisa scoffed, pulling her lips into a thin line.
"Yeah, you're right." I hummed in response, shrugging. She shook her head.
"Well then I'm not sorry for ruining your trench coat." She returned, pointing a shaky finger at my trench coat covered in her and Y/N's blood.
"Y/N helped with that." Lalisa looked at the ground.
"Is she ok?" She asked softly.
I nodded.
"Her bleeding stopped about half an hour ago."
I added, "Why? Do you care about her?"
She looked away and shook her head.
"No. Why would I?" She answered..
I sighed out, "Nevertheless, I'm here to check on you since you seemed like you were having a hard time."
"The bleeding didn't stop yet." She said, slipping the fact into our conversation.
"What? Why didn't you call someone earlier then?" I asked, standing up and furrowing my brows.
"You both seemed busy." She shrugged.
I hurriedly ripped the blankets off of her to reveal the blood soaked mattress, along with her clothes that were matted with blood.
I cursed under my breath.
"What? You care about me that much?" She said, arching an eyebrow.
"No! Yosano's gonna kill me! She hates I let when I get blood on her sheets!" I panicked.
"Of course." She mumbled, frowning.
I used my panicked state to hurry around the room, grabbing unused gauze and those silver clip things, whatever they're called, to hold the gauze in place.
"Sit up." I ordered.
She nodded and sat up. I wrapped the gauze around her waist hastily and she winced.
"You were so much more caring when you did it for Y/N."
"Well I'm thinking you can understand why." I said, hurriedly
She shrugged.
"Just be a little more gentle." She mumbled bitterly
"What?" I asked, furrowing my brows. She shook her head and sighed.
"It's nothing."
Your P.O.V
I heard footsteps coming into the room and I sat up, thinking it was Dazai.
"Y/N? Are you there?" A feminine voice called.
I furrowed my brows.
"Yosano?" I whispered, standing up and limping to the door.
But all I saw was Lalisa and Dazai arguing while he tried to clip the bandage shut.
I smiled at the sight.
"Maybe it was just me."
