"Mika would you please stop? Give it a rest! Look at you! You're like a fool! Hindi ka ba naaawa sa sarili mo? Tingnan mo nga yan oh! Are you that desperate?"

The rain started to pour as Jeron shouted at the top of his lungs which attracted everybody's attention. Mika, not able to control the weight of Jeron's words blubbered softly, as if any minute from now she's going to break down.

"Paps! Cut it off! Pinagtitinginan na kayo oh! Wag mo namang ipahiya si Mika sa harap ng mga taong 'to" Thomas reprimanded Jeron.

"C'mon paps! May training pa tayo! Nagsasayang lang tayo ng oras dito!" Jeron said grumpily as he marches inside his car.

"Pasensya ka na Miks ah! Mainit lang ulo ni Jeron. Pag-pasensyahan mo na siya" Thomas, in behalf of Jeron asked for remission.

"Okay lang Thom, sanay na rin naman ako dyan sa best friend mo eh. Sige na dun ka na, baka ma-late ka pa sa training niyo"

Mika smiled solemnly but Thomas can still see the pain in her eyes. Mika stood up and shook her head because of embarassment, she made her way through the crowd who were watching them earlier. Mika can hear them murmuring, but she didn't even pay any attention to them. A few minutes later, she heard a car stopped at her side, she turned sideways and realized who the person was,

"Mikang! Nagpapaulan ka na naman! Ako na naman papagalitan ni Mommy! Ikaw talaga diba sabi ko hintayin mo'ko? Na-late nga lang ako saglit eh! May training pa kasi kami!" Mika weakly entered the car and turned on the radio, her cousin Nico sensed that something was wrong,

"Sabi ko naman kasi sa'yo diba? Wag mo na akong sunduin? Malapit lang naman dito yung dorm eh!" Mika reminded Nico for the nth time today,

"Eh hindi nga pwede eh! What if something went wrong, sinong sisisihin ni Tita? Ako?" Nico answered solemnly

"Ayan ka na naman sa pagiging protective mo sa'kin eh! The problem with you is that lagi mo na lang iniisip na may mangyayaring masama sa'kin. Pessimist!" Mika replied

"Mikang! Normal lang na maging OP ako sayo ano! Alam mo namang parang kapatid na kita! Tsaka ang isa't-isa na nga lang ang meron tayo eh"  Nico replied stifling his laugh

"LOL! As if naman totoo yan! May Ate Gretchen ka! Oh by the way, where is she?" Mika asked seriously

"Nakauwi na, hindi ko nga nahatid eh kasi I told her na susunduin pa kita, but naiintindihan niya naman" Nico replied

"Wow! You bailed her! Your own girlfriend! Shunga ka rin pala Kuya eh! Wala kang kwenta!" Mika teased,

Nico's face suddenly turned sad, as if his conscience troubles him, he immediately fished for his phone and called Gretchen,

"Hello Babe? Nakauwi ka na?" Nico immediately said as Gretchen picked up his call,

"Yes Baby don't worry, are you still with Mika? Can I speak with her for a moment?" Nico immediately gave the phone to Mika and said that Gretchen wants to speak with her,

"Hello Miks? I heard what happened earlier, about what shoti did? I'm so sorry, pag-pasensyahan mo na si Jeron ah! Sorry talaga" Gretchen spoke as soon as Mika received the phone.

"No worries Ate Gretch, you know how I'm used to it! Hindi na rin naman bago sa'kin ang lahat eh, you know that!" Mika replied faking her laughter for Gretchen to know that she's okay.

"Sorry talaga Mika ah! Don't worry, mamaya papagalitan ko yang si Shoti, for what he's done to you! Sorry talaga Miks!" Gretchen asked for remission again as Mika immediately backed Jeron up,
