Chapter 4

*Ryan's P.O.V*

As I watched the girls walk away. I had only one thought 'why did I just let her leave? I know that she is my mate. I need my mate'

I will get her but not yet. She may not be ready. When she is ready.

*Luna's P.O.V*

As I walked away from the prin.... sorry Ryan. I was kinda sad. why was I sad? why did me and Ryan have a little connection? I'm over thinking this way to much. Me and Robin get into the pack house to only be attacked by little kids and hungry kids at that.

"Alpha! Alpha! did you come back with the food you promised us?" said Jamie

"Yes. And please don't call me Alpha it makes me feel old." then I made a funny face causing the children to giggle. we all walk into the kitchen in the pack house and I make the children a sandwich each, then I made one for Robin. I went to make one for myself but when I turned back to the counter there was on stuff for the sandwich. well that's fine as long as the children got one then everything is ok.

*After the little lunch*

I sat in my office trying to do pack business. Trying to think of a way to deal with the rouges. But I cant stop thinking about Ryan. As I was lost in my thoughts I heard a child scream. I immediately ran downstairs only to find my worse nightmare, rouges attacking the children! aww hell no.

I run at then changing into my grey wolf. And I start to attack. This is the only bad thing about a pack with children, none of them are old enough to start training to be a warrior, so I fought on my own. Robin is doing the thing I told her to do, protect the children.

As I was attacking one of the rouges one came up on my back and bit me hard. I screamed. I hit off the one on my back and started backing up. There was about 10 of them I had no chance but I fought on. no one hurts my pack. Ever. I got most of them to retreat but some came back and attacked me at once. As they attacked I started to feel weak. Soon everything was going fuzzy. I hear a loud banging on the door. the door bursts open and I see a black wolf, I look at the eyes and saw something I didn't expect to see. I saw Ryan and his warriors to help me. The rouges get off of me and started to attack them. In a matter of minutes the rouges were all dead thanks to Ryan and his warriors.

I saw Ryan shift and walk over to me.

"I need you to shift back into human form so I can help you." I listened and shifted. He put his jacket around me to keep me warm. The next thing he did was he picked me up bridal style. He started to walk out of the pack house.

"I'm talking you back to the castle and I will get you to the doctor and he will heal you. Don't worry I will have you healed and safe my little mate, I promise." Ryan said as he walked me to his castle.

Everything started to go black. I tried to fight it but I couldn't so I let the darkness consume me.
