Chapter 2-Confrontation

*Ryan's P.O.V.*

I wanted to visit the pack that was located near my house to check up and see how everything is going, when I arrived it looked like no one is living here anymore. I made my way to the pack house and knocked on the door. I was greeted by a small girl, I bent down to her height, "Hello there what is your name.?" "My name is Ashley but please call me Ash." She said with a smile. "Well Ash, may I come inside?" She nodded and moved out of the way for me to enter. "Thank you." she closed the door behind me. "Would you like something to drink sir?" i nodded, "Yes please." She then skipped down the hallway and I followed behind her. As we made our way down the hallway I saw that the wallpaper in the walls was ripped in some areas. It looks like it was ripped by someones claws, maybe someone lost their temper and ripped it up. 

She led me into a small kitchen area. "Please take a seat." She told me. Before I sat down I saw her open the fridge, it was empty besides a pitcher of water, no food just water. I grew worried. 'What if the alpha isn't feeding them on purpose, just to get rid of the children, No, no alpha would be that cruel right?' I thought. I turned around to find a small dinning area, I walked over and sat down on the nearest chair. Ash came and sat down next to me, as she did she handed me a glass of water. "Thank you very much." She gave me a warm smile. There was a awkward silence in the room for a few seconds. "Sir what are you doing here, not to e rude or anything." She asked. I put down the glass, "I am here to see your alpha, I know the visit is unexpected and I do apologize, I merely wanted to check up on how everything is going. And please no need to call me sir, just call me Ryan please." I explained to her. She smiled widely at me but made a sad face right after. "Is something wrong?" I ask. "No its just that our alpha isn't here right now. She went out for some business." I nodded, maybe the beta is here. "Is the beta here?" She shook her head no. "No sorry she went with alpha." Both the alpha and beta are girls? New and interesting.  

I sat there in silence and just thought of how I'm going to meet the alpha. I can't stay here i have things to attend too. Once I finish my glass of water, I stand up and put the glass in the sink for her. I turn around and tell Ash, "Thank you for the drink, but i must be going now. Please wait for a letter to arrive and please give it to the alpha when it does arrive." She gives me a smile and a nod. She gets up from the chair and hurried to beat me too the door. "Thank you for stopping by, I will tell her that you came to speak with her."She opened the door for me and I thank her once more, "Have a good evening Ash." I said as i walked out. She yelled back, "You too Ryan!" I chuckled and thought, 'What a cute girl, so full of smiles and giggles'  

I got into my car and paused before i started the engine up. 'I hope they will be back soon, I don't want Ash to go hungry and everyone else in the small pack. Now I really need to help them.'  I thought. I put my thoughts aside and start up my car.I look at my watch and see that it is 4:33 pm. 'Shoot i need to get going' I thought. I put on some my music and begin to drive. I smile as the first song to come on is 'Humans' by The Killers. This ride home is going to be very nice. 

As I pull into the driveway, I look at my watch only to see it is now 5:10 pm. It didn't take me too long to get home. I park my car and get out. Once I am inside the house, I head up to my office. I sit down at my desk and begin to write a letter for the alpha. 

Dear Alpha, 

Recently I paid a visit to you pack house to check up on you and the Silver Moon pack, but upon my arrival you or your beta were not there. I do apologize that I went without notifying you before.  I met a nice young girl named Ashley, she was very kind to me and offered me something to drink but, when she went into the fridge I saw that the only thing in there was a pitcher of water. I wanted to know if it is possible to meet with me and discuss the state of your pack. And I want to help in anyway that I can. I don't want to see any pack struggle, it brings sadness to my face and my heart. I want all packs to thrive. Again I want to know when I can meet with you and possibly your beta as well to figure out what I can o to help. Please let me know when we can meet. Thank you. 

The Prince 

I put my pen down and sigh, 'I hope she will accept to meeting me about this.' I grab a envelope out of the second drawer of my desk, and carefully fold up the letter and place it in the envelope. I put the words Silver Moon's Alpha on the front and seal it up. I then call for one of my guards. He gets to my office quickly. "Please take this to the Silver Moon pack house please, it is urgent so please be fast but also careful." He gave a nod, "Yes your highness." He said then walked out. I hear a car start up so I turn around in my chair and watch him leave. I sigh in relief.  Now all I need to do is wait for a reply back. I sit there in thought until i hear a knock at my office door. "Your highness, we found two girls who broke into the house and they were trying to steal food." 'Food? Why food?' I thought. I shake off the thought and say, "Bring them in." The door opened and my guards brought in two young ladies who looked to be around the age of 16-17. I looked between the girls, but as I looked at one my inner wolf jumped in excitement. This caused my eyes to widen. I was both shocked that my wolf jumped and that these girls were here to steal food. I am still concerned on why my wolf jumped awake. Now I wonder what these girls would be doing stealing food.
