I walk home from a long day at school.  Yeah I know what you're thinking; Where is your car?

Well my car is in the shop right now, because it is being a stupid poopy head and the transmission just like died.  So I don't really know what I'm going to do about driving to school every morning.  I get to my sidewalk toward my house, and I start walking faster so that I could get home in time for me to get ready for my date.  I needed a lot of time to do my homework and study for my tests on monday.  Yes I was an overachiever.  I reach my house and unlock the door to see Jenni texting on her phone. I roll my eyes as I walk past her and into the kitchen.  I open the fridge to see we had no food.

"MOM!" I scream.

"What? Are you okay?" She asks.

"Yes I'm fine, you need to buy food.  We're going to starve to death here." I say.

"I never have time sweetie, if you want food so badly why don't you take my car to the grocery store up the street." She says.

"Fine I will, but I need to get ready for my date." I say backing up slightly.

I hear my sister running into the kitchen.

"YOU HAVE A DATE? WITH WHO, WHO?" She says loudly.

"Um Noone, you need to know about." I say smiling.

"Tell me right now, or I will post pictures of you naked on instagram." Jenni says.

"Do not dare." I say giving my sister an evil glare in her direction.

"Gosh calm down, I wasn't actually going to do it." She says.

"It's Carter Long. Don't freak out.  We're not dating, he just bid on me at the auction off." I say breathing.

"I'm going to freak out, not only do you get to go on a date with Carter.  He also bid on you." She says pacing from the kitchen counter to the fridge. 

I bring my hands to her shoulders to stop her from pacing.

"And I also have to tutor him." I say smiling and laughing at the same time.

"Girl, you need to talk to me more." Jenni says.

"It's not like you like to talk to me." I say shrugging.

"When did I ever say that?" Jenni says.

"All the time Jen." I say frowning.

"I'm sorry boo." She says coming over to me and hugging me, and then adds,

"I love you sis."

"I love you too Jenni." I say kind of glad that me and my sister were back to being buddies again, because me and her used to talk about everything together.  Even though she was younger than me, she was still someone that was good to talk to.  I look over at her and smile.

"You don't know how much I missed you." I say hugging her tighter.

"If you don't want to miss me anymore, you might want to stop squeezing so hard. I might die." Jenni says.

"Oops sorry." I say.

"Well you know what." Jenni says.

"What?" I ask.

"I'm going to help you get ready for your date." She squeals.

"Oh no, I know what happens when you get in that mood.  You go crazy on everything." I say.
