I wake up with a bed all by myself. I roll over to Carter's side of the bed and then get up. I go into the bathroom to change into my clothes I brought over today. I change and then I walk out of his bedroom and down his stairs.
"Carter?" I ask.
"I'm in the kitchen Anna." He says back.
I walk over to the kitchen and see Carter cooking. He can cook. Geez this boy keeps getting better and better.
"Whatcha cooking?" I ask.
"Just making some mac-and-cheese. Want some? I made enough for two people." He says.
"Sure." I say sitting down at the kitchen table.
"Here you go." Carter says placing a bowl infront of me.
"Thanks." I say still not getting over the fact that Carter said he loved me last night.
"Are you okay?" Carter asks me.
"No. Carter last night you said you loved me." I say.
"Yeah, is something wrong with that?" He asks.
"I don't know, I just can't get it out of my head Carter." I say.
"Well. It's hard for someone to say they love them to someone who doesn't love them back. Isn't it?" Carter says sighing.
"Carter. Don't say that. I just don't know my feelings right now." I say.
"I can't wait Anna, I need you to know. I need to know." he says.
"I can't tell you right now, but you should know that you are the most amazing guy I have met. Thank you for that." I say smiling and grabbing his hand from across the table.
"See you do all this couple things say i'm amazing, cuddle with me..but you still say you don't know your feelings..You like me, just say it." He says.
"Fine I like you, does that make you feel better?" I ask carter.
"Yes because now I can do this. I love you Anna, and I have for a while now." He says.
"Oh wow. Carter. Im speechless what am I suppose to say to that." I ask.
"Nothing just sit there and be pretty." He says putting his mac-and-cheese filled spoon in his mouth.
I put the spoon in my mouth and eat Carter's mac-and-cheese. He finishes his and puts his bowl into the sink and waits for me to be done. I finish after him and he grabs my bowl and puts it into the sink next to his.
"So what are we doing today?" I ask.
"What do you want to do?" He asks.
"Can we go to the beach?" I ask.
"Of course we can, it's only 45 minutes away, but you need to go get a bathing suit to wear right?" He asks.
"Yep I'll go run over there and get one." I say.
Carter's P.O.V:
I wait for Anna to get back with her bathing suit so I go up to my room to get myself a bathing suit. I open my door and open my drawer and pull out a pair of plaid bathing suit bottoms. I shove them under my arm and head back downstairs. I just told Anna that I loved her, and I did. But it was kind of scary saying that to a girl... and it being my first time. I have never even really had a real relationship and I still haven't even asked out Anna, we were like friends with benefits. I should probably ask her to be my girlfriend during this trip. I will. I hear the front door open and I see Anna holding a bright red bikini in her hand. She was going to look hot in that. :)
