Shawn and I have been engaged for six months and we haven't started any wedding planning, so I think we should while he's at home.

I know most couples already have half, if not all of their wedding planned by now, but Shawn's job has put a hold on our plans. You see Shawn is a professional photographer and writer and his job sends him all over the world. However, he is back for a few weeks.

"Hey Shawn, can you come in here?" I called out to him.

He's in his Dark Room.

"Yes, my love?" he said as he came into the living room.

Do you think we could start planning the wedding?"

"Of course," he said, coming to sit on the couch beside me. "So, where should we start?"

"Well, we already know who we want to marry us, right?"

"Yes, let me call him to see if we could talk to him about that," Shawn said, pulling out his cell phone.

"Hey, would you mind if Katy and I came over to talk to you about something?" he asked. "Okay we will be over there in a few."

"He said come on over."

"Okay, let's go."

**************

"Hey Shawn," he answered the door, hugging him.

"Hey Katy," he said, hugging me too. "How are you guys?" Come on in, sit down, and make yourself comfortable. "

"Thank you, we're good, just trying to plan the wedding," I smiled.

"Oh yeah, how's that going?"

It's going good so far, but if it continues to go good depends on you," Shawn told him.

"How does that depend on me?" he asked, giving a questioning look to both of us.

"Well, we would like to know if you would marry us?" Shawn asked, hopeful.

"But, I'm not a minster," he answered, looking confused.

"But you could become one, please?" Shawn begged. "This is really important to me. You know the only time that I beg is when I want something, and I never beg."

Shawn was right, he never begs.

Okay, Okay, fine I'll do it," he said.

"Yes, thank you, John!" Shawn jumped up and hugged him again.

"You're welcome, son," John smiled back.

We stayed a little while longer, catching up with John, and then went back home to plan the rest of our wedding.

Shawn and I sat back down on the couch. "Okay, so now we have to figure out the colors, I was thinking Purple and yellow and baby blue?

"That's fine with me, sweetheart, it's your day." Shawn smiled at me, putting his arm around my shoulders.

"It's our day." I rephrased Shawn's statement.

After I said that kissed me.

"I'm not going to tell you about my dress, but I will tell you that it won't be your traditional white.

"Well, if you don't tell me, how am I supposed to know what color tux to wear?"

"Because you can still wear the traditional tux," I told him.

"But what if it looks tacky?"

I laughed. I knew what he was trying to do, but it wasn't working.

"Nice try, but I'm not telling you anything about my dress, baby doll."

"You did not just call me baby doll," he said, giving me a look.

"No, I- I didn't," I smiled.

"Yes, you did." He turned to face me and started tickling me, making me lay down on the couch, throwing the notebook on the floor

Sh- Sh- Shawn, st-st- stop," I got out through my laughter.

"Say you love me," he said, continuing to tickle me.

"I- I- I- love you- you," I said through breaths of laughter. This time my stomach was hurting so bad.

Shawn stopped tickling me, leaned down, kissed me, and said, "I love you, too," against my lips.

I smiled and continued to kiss him for a few more minutes. I then pushed him away saying, "Let's get back to work."

Now look what you did, you made me drop my notebook so I have to pick it up and find the plans again," I told him in an upset playful tone.

"Oh, I remember you throwing it down, not dropping it." As he was saying this, I could tell he was smiling without looking at him.

"Yeah, because of you," I laughed, hitting his shoulder with the notebook.

He laughed.

"So, where were we? Oh, yeah, "Where is the wedding going to be?"

"How about this place called The Garden?" he asked.

"What's The Garden?"

"It's a wedding venue that I've been asked to take wedding photos at from time to time. It's really beautiful. "If you want to check it out I could make a call."

"Yes, of course." I wrote down The Garden and put a maybe beside it.

"Topanga is my matron of honor, Riley, Rachel, and Morgan are my bridesmaids and I'm going to ask Maya to be my maid of honor. Augie is our ring barrier, Ava is our flower girl, and I know Cory is your best man."

Shawn nodded his head, "Yes, ma'am."

There was no question about that.

"And I hope you didn't tell Riley that you were planning to ask Maya that because if you did, there is a good chance she already knows."

"Oh, I know better than that," I laughed. "So, all we have to do now is go check out the venue and go to the cake tasting."

"Alright, I'll call Lauren and set it up and then you can call Maggie and set the appointment for us at the bakery."

"Okay. It looks like our wedding planning is almost done," I smiled at Shawn, pressing my lips to his.

"Yep, it looks like it," he smiled, putting his arms around me, pulling me closer to him.

NOTE: If you're wondering Katy already has her dress, the bridesmaids  dresses and Maya's dress and Shawn also already has his tux!
