Today, Cory and I are going to look for homes, a new home for Katy, Maya and I. Topanga has agreed to keep Katy busy, she told her she needed help at the café, and Maya is hanging out with Riley, so this is the perfect time to look.

Now usually I know the couple goes looking for a house together, but I want this to be a surprise for Katy and Maya.

A couple months ago, I called a realtor to help me look for bigger houses and she called back about two days ago telling me that she had found a house that she thinks Katy and I would love.

Hello, Mr. Hunter, how are you?" Mrs. Walker asked as she walked up to me, shaking my hand.

"I'm good. How are you? Please, call me Shawn. Oh, and by the way, this is my friend Cory. I brought him along to help me look at the house," I told her, gesturing toward Cory.

"Great. Hello Cory, how are you?" she asked, shaking his hand as well.

"I'm good," he answered.

Okay so, shall we take a look at the house?"

"Yes ma'am." I nodded my head.

"Okay now, I'm not sure if this is the type of house you would want, but I saw it and thought you might like it," Mrs. Walker said as we walked up to the house.

But it wasn't just any house, it was a lighthouse.

Wow, I thought. Katy would love this house.

"This house was built in 1826; everything you see was built by the owners from the ground up. The husband said his wife loved lighthouses so he built her one. The house, as you see is set on the lake. It has ten rooms, two living rooms, stairs that leads up to the tower, which is where two of the bedrooms are, and a garage. Well, let's go in and see the house. "

When we went inside, I, myself fell in love with the house. As we walked through it, Mrs. Walked told me about each of the rooms.

"So, what do you think?" I turned to Cory for his opinion.

"I think it's amazing. Katy will love it, Shawnee," he answered, patting me on the back.

I smiled, turning back to Mrs. Walker saying, "I'll take it."

"Great," Mrs. Walker smiled back, shaking my hand again. "As you know you will have some paperwork to fill out."

"Yes ma'am," I nodded." Is there any way that I could sign what I need to first, and then bring Katy to sign her part later?"

"Yes, of course. If you would like, you could follow me to my office and I will go ahead and give you the keys."

Two days later

I got my part settled with Mrs. Walker, and now I'm ready to show Katy. I won't tell her where we're going, but I told her that she would love it. (Or, I hope she does).

After fifteen minutes we pull up at the house.

She turned to me asking, "Whose house is this?"

I don't say anything, I just go over and open the door for her, and she gets out, still asking whose house this was. I open up the house without her seeing the key.

"Shawn, what are you doing? Does anyone live here? We are going to get the cops called on us!"

I could tell she was starting to panic, but I didn't want to give what I had done away just yet.

Baby, just trust me, okay?"

"Okay," she said.

"I want to show you around."
