Vados x sick reader

AN: Warning extreme sadness up ahead. Read with caution and if your brave. I would also ask that if sad oneshots make you upset please do not read. But it does have a happy ending.

Vados watched you writhing in pain. Her hands were fidgeting and she kept glancing at the doctor than you. You were in a hospital bed clutching the sheets. You were screaming for them to show mercy and kill you. Vados was sobbing.

A virus had spread but it was being contained. The only reason Vados was with you was because she was immune to getting such things. She had fallen in love with you from the moment she saw you. She was angry earlier and everyone​ avoided her. She had snapped at Goku and Vegeta for not protecting you well enough. She stayed with you for days never sleeping and barely eating.

She would run and get the nurse each time you stirred. She hoped for good news but the doctor grabbed her shoulder and would give her a look that said I'm sorry but please hold on. Do not give up! Miracles are not rare, or non-existent.

She nodded and sunk back into her chair. Some days She told you stories about her long life span. How she had felt trying Earth's food for the first time. How she had defeated a whole army of mercenaries when Champa was to lazy to do it himself.

Vados may not have known but you heard every word. You listened to her stories and her voice. You wanted to see her again. She was the reason you fought to stay alive. The pain was unbearable but you had to hold on. You fought and fought. It was getting a little better to breath.

She often would wait and watch you breath. It soothed her and she knew some how that you would pull through. She would never leave your side. It had now been 19 days and you weren't improving. Vados didn't have any fear, which was why she didn't flinch when she heard that Chi Chi, Master Roshi, Videl, Yamcha, and even the great and famous Mr. Satan were all dead.

Vados closed her eyes and with a great inner struggle. She traced the shape of your face. She was remembering every crease, every strand of your hair, and she grabbed a strand of your hair and smelt it. She remembered your smell and she frowned. She would not let this happen.

You felt Vados trace your face and you wanted to cry. I'm alive! You wanted to shout. I will not die I promise! You couldn't move your lips. Please! Hear me! You screamed internally.

Vados sealed the doors and put force fields up around the room. She closed her eyes and said a silent apology to her family. She grabbed your hospital gown and pulled it down revealing your chest. She blinked and breathed in and out.

What are you doing Vados?

She had tears falling down her face. "Just Know I love you." She said before grabbing her staff and aiming it at her heart. "And because of that, I won't let you die." She said before she held her hands out and the staff lifted in the air. There was a heavy knock on the door. "Sister what are you doing?" A very frantic Whis yelled as he continued to beat on the door.

Hurry don't let Vados do anything reckless! I can't live without her if I pull through! You thought desperately.

Vados knew she was running out of time. Whis would stop her. She was about to pierce her chest when the door was blown to pieces. She stopped and stared with wide eyes at the shaky form of Beerus. He was supposed to be one of the patents.

Thank goodness. You felt very weak. Perhaps freaking out like that screwed with your illness. You felt yourself get more and more tired.

"How?" Vados asked, Whis walked forward and gently grabbed Vados's staff. "Goku found the antidote. We're healing everyone now." Whis said and Vados broke down. Whis grabbed her shoulder and steadied her and Goku walked over to you. He opened your mouth and poured some liquid into your mouth. You gulped it down and recognized a strange banana taste.

"Bulmas is already working on gathering the dragon balls to revive everyone we lost." Vegeta added.

Vados I'm getting better! I can feel it! You thought happily.

You opened your eyes and the first person you saw was Vados. "I love you to." You told her grinning like an idiot.

She kissed you than pulled back freaking out about hurting you. You cupped her cheek and reassured her that you were all right. She stayed by you until five days later when you were aloud to leave.

Vados took you back to Champas to help you recover. She watched over you and helped you re-learn to do daily tasks. She would cook for you, and help you walk more and more each day. Your body had gone through a lot.

You smiled at Vados. "I heard you, you know." She blushed while looking away. "I don't know what your talking about." She said curtly. You laughed. "You can't hide it from me, I see past your strong personality remember?" She looked at you and smiled. "I Know." She said while cupping your cheek. "I love you." You told her. She smiled. "I love you." She said before leaning in and kissing you.

AN: ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. So I need to update more and I need to watch dragon Ball super more because I feel like I'm losing their personalitys.
