Melissa's POV

The flight to London was a complete disaster. And the way back, wasn't much different. I was suppose to be back home mid-afternoon but didn't work out well due to delays. But I was home. I was originally suppose to stay at Seth's but it was the middle of the night when I got in, so I took an cab to my house. I would have Cindy drive me to Seth's the next day as I had left my truck at his house. My dad was also gone at this point until it got closer to the bar opening. He did his part and found it pointless to stay when we weren't getting along. All we did was fight, especially about Seth cause I didn't want him to meet him. So, now I was home alone. I was barely home from the airport when my phone rang. I wondered who would calling me in the middle of the night. I looked down and saw it was Kevin. I exhaled. A late night phone call from him meant only that he was drunk and wanted to fight or try to get back together. And I knew he had to have seen the pictures of Seth and I over the internet. I hesitated, but I picked up the phone. "What do you want, Kevin?"

"What? Can a man not call to see how his woman is doing?" Kevin hiccupped.

I sighed. "Kevin, how many times do I have to tell you, we are no longer together or will we ever be together again."

"You are only saying that cause you got yourself a booooyyyyffffrriieeenddd." God, it was annoying how he said it.

"No, Kevin, boyfriend or not, we will never be together." I was annoyed. "You are drunk and it is late. I do not have time for your shit."

"So," He quickly went back to the subject. "You're dating Seth MacFarlane, huh? You can't deny it. I saw it on the internet. So, what does he have that I don't have?"

"I'm not doing this with you, Kevin." I sternly told him.

"No! Tell me! I want to know why he gets you but I can't have another chance."

"Maybe cause he is actually nice to me." I told him. "And he doesn't hit me."

"One time, Lissa!" He was getting mad. "That only happened one time!"

"Cause I only allowed it to happen one time. Then I left. I wasn't dumb enough to stay around and allow you to hit on me. Especially with the boys around." I was getting angry myself.

"Well, good riddance. You never were that good in bed anyways. And you have bounced from guy to guy since our divorce. Don't know what you could have." He was becoming cold.

"And you haven't bounced from girl to girl?" I was dumbfounded. "I have not seen as many guys as you have girls. You have a new girl every month or so. And you cheat, so add the girls you have on the side too. Who are you to talk?"

"You know what, he can have you. I don't want a slut like you anyways." He only said.

The words actually hurt. "Go to hell, Kevin!" I was letting my anger get the best of me.

"I was already there, remember. When I was married to you." I heard him hiccup again. "You know what, I don't think that the boys should have such a slut of a mother. They are better off with me."

"Like hell they would!" I yelled at him.

"And such outburst, that can't be health for the boys. Tisk tisk. I think I should try to get full custody. Let the boys live with me."

"Over my dead body! You are one to talk, you have such violent outburst! You are even lucky to have what you have with them, you son of a bitch! Do not threaten to take my boys from me!" I was losing it.

He hung up without another word. I looked at the phone as I was pissed. He did this whenever I started to see someone. He hated I wouldn't be with him. Even though I knew he would never win, I would still get upset about it and worried. My nerves were rattled. I started to cry. I looked around feeling helpless and alone. I then quickly called the one person I knew who would be there for me. After a couple rings, I heard Seth's groggy voice, "Hello?"
