Melissa's POV

I couldn't lie.  My life was going great.  I was worried about Seth for a little bit after what happened.  But since he has been home and we have been great, he had been a lot better.  He seemed really happy.  We were home, just hanging out.  It's only been a week since the incident.  Seth has been off as he needed time to heal still.  Tabloids got wind that Seth was in the hospital but didn't know the reasoning.  I was thankful for this as we didn't need the questions.  They knew we were separated but after his trip to the hospital, they also found we got back together.  They were already hounding us with questions about the girl and us getting back together.  Seth seemed uncomfortable with the questions so I always took charge, he seemed relieved about this.  But I could tell the questions bothered him as he always wanted to stay in.  I didn't mind it so much.  Before the separation, he was working a lot.  It felt nice to have him home with me.  One afternoon, we were curled up on the couch, just watching tv when my phone rang.  I looked at it and saw it was the detective on the case with Jonathan.  I thought nothing of it as he gave me weekly updates.  Probably another update that they found nothing.  I answered the phone.  "Hello."  

"Hello, Mrs. MacFarlane.  How are you doing this afternoon?"  He asked.

"I am good and you?"  I responded.

"I am doing well."  He answered me.  Then he said, "I have good news for you.  We got an anonymous tip and we followed up.  We found Jonathan hiding out.  He has been arrested."

"Oh my god!  That is amazing news!"  I said, almost excitedly.

Seth then looked at me in confusion.  I held a finger up as I knew he was about to ask questions.  "That it is."  The detective told me.  "I wanted to follow up with you to let you know."  

"Thank you so much.  For everything."  I smiled.

"No problem, Mrs. MacFarlane.  Now you and your family can rest easy knowing this man is behind bars."  He said.

"That we can.  Again thank you."  I said, happily.

"I'm glad to give you some good news.  Have a wonderful day."  He said.

"You too."  I hung up and looked at Seth.

"Who was that?"  He asked.

"The detective.  He just told me that they found Jonathan and arrested him."  I smiled as happy tears began to flow.

His face lite up and he smiled.  "That is great news."

"That it is.  Now we can rest easy."  I said, happily.  "I get to live again."

He put his arms around me and said, "That you do, love.  I am glad that monster is behind bars where he belongs."

Seth's POV

Everything was going great between Lissa and I.  But some of the kids hated me.  Jennifer and James didn't seem to understand.  Josh, I really couldn't tell, he acted no different around me.  But Jacob, he was angry with me.  He didn't want to hear me or Lissa out, something her took after his mother.  KJ wouldn't speak to me either.  He was coming home soon as it was summer and he took half of it to go to Europe with his friends.  But now he was coming home.  I wasn't sure how he would react.  Lissa and I waited for him.  I was anxious.  Lissa took noticed and took my hand.  It's okay."

"He wouldn't even take my calls.  I am worried how he will feel about everything."  I was scared.

She smiled.  "It will be okay."
