Saphire's P.O.V."Goodnight sweetie."
"Goodnight mom."
I lay in bed for about ten minutes after my mother had closed the door. When I heard the even heartbeats of my parents I got out of bed and tiptoed to the bathroom. There I applied some mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow and lipgloss.
When I was done I brushed through my thick brown curls before tiptoeing back to my room. I opened the doors to my walk-in closet and went to the back, where I had hidden my stage clothes.
I put on the ripped blue jeans, dark gray v-neck t-shirt, black leather jacket and matching pair of combat boots. Then I went back into the room and slowley opened my window. After checking that there was nobody outside I jumped out and landed on the dirt.
I made sure one last time there was no one around before runnning off.
I wasn't always like this. Sneaking out of my room at night. It started last year, when Christian saved me (unknowingly) from some rogues that wanted to attack me in te woods.
Christian was a human who owned a bar in the city. After running down the rogues (that were still in wolfform) with his car, he gave me a ride 'home'. (At the time I had told him to drop me off a some random house in the city, but he didn't know that.)
On the ride 'home' he explained to me that he had been on his way to his bar. But wasn't sure if he should even bother opening. Apparently the band that usually sung had quite and since his bar was called 'Face the Music' he couldn't open without some form of musical entertainment.
The first time I offered to sing in his bar was because I felt I owed him for saving my life. But I found out that I really enjoyed singing infront of an audiance. Besides, the songs I sang there weren't songs I could sing at home. At home I was behaved and polite.
Christian had more than once offered to pay me for singing. But it didn't feel right to ask money for something I enjoyed so much. So Christian made a seperate bank account for me where he 'payed' me monthly. So if I ever needed the money I just had to ask.
After some fifteen minutes of running I arrived at the edge of the city and called a cab. This was basically the only thing I had used the money for untill now. Paying a taxi-driver to drive me from the edge of town to the bar and back.
Even though I was a werewolf and alot stronger than the average human it still felt safer to go by car. It took the driver ten minutes to get to FTM (Face The Music). I payed him and quickly ran inside through the back door.
"Saph! Glad you decided to come."
That was Christian, he was twenty-eight with long blond hair pulled back into a ponytail. He was also verry buff and usually had a leather jacket like me. Only he took his off when he went into FTM.
I smiled. "Sorry I'm late. Got caught up on some homework."
That was the excuse I always used. Humans usually went to school until they were eighteen. And since I was seventeen I told Chris I still went to school. Just so he wouldn't worry about me or anything.
"So what song do you wanna sing?" Chris asked. Walking towards his laptop, which was conected to the speakers.
I grinned and grabbed my mike.
"Slow down, Selena Gomez."
"And after?"
"Something from Kesha? Surprise me." I said. Chris smiled back before looking back at his laptop. His right hand was on the table and with his left he was scrawling through the playlists.
I would probably sing two or three songs like I usually did and then head home. For the rest of the night Chris would probably play Top Tracks or something from spotify.
I took a deep breath and then looked back at Chris silently asking if I was good to go. Chris put his thumbs up and leaned against the table. I smiled before walking onto the stage.
