Alexander's P.O.V.I followed Saphire as she sneaked out of her house again. I was determined to find out where she was going. She took the same track she usually did and in ten minutes time she'd reach the edge of the city.
Just before Spahire reached the tree line I stopped her. I wrapped one of my arms around my waist and put the other on her mouth , to prevent her from screaming. She was to far away from any pack members to use mind-link anyway.
"Shhh, it's me." I whispered. Saphire relaxed and I smiled. Maybe she wouldn't reject me after all when she found out who I was.
I slowley removed my hand from Saphire's mouth, wrapping it around her waist like the other.
"I'm still quite curious about where you sneak off to at night." I whispered.
"That's none of your business." Saphire whispered back.
I sighed. "Okay."
We stood still for a few moments untill Saphire spoke.
"Are you going to let go of me?" She asked.
I chuckled softly and answered.
"That depends."
"On what?"
"On wether you're going to tell me where you're going or not."
Saphire was quiet. I wonderd if she bit her bottom lip when she thought. Some people did that. Then she sighed.
"If I tell you, will you promise to let me go and not to tell anybody?"
I thought for a moment before whispering.
"Once again, there wouldn't be any fun in that. But if you tell me I'll let you go."

"I really had not seen that comming."
"You said you'd let me go if I told you."
"I did didn't I?"
"Yeah, for six minutes while I was on stage."
I smirked and pulled Saphire closer to me. My arm was around her shoulder, my face hidden by the shadows of the forest. I still don't know how I managed to keep my identity secret while I was in Face The Music. Apparently it's darker in there than you'd expect.
"What's your name?" Saphire suddenly asked, her voice soft. I stiffend a bit.
"Alex." I said softly, hoping she wouldn't hear. But she did, luckily though she didn't make the connection yet.
"Alex." She whispered, then asked. "How long... do you know me?"
"Two years." I said.
She nodded. "How old are you?"
I smirked. "Getting curious huh?"
Saphire blushed and hid her cheeks with her hair.
"Maybe."
A few minutes later we arrived at her house. Saphire climbed up a tree and onto her roof, I followed close behind. The moon had disapeared behind the clouds, hiding me well.
"Um... I'm going inside. Into my room." Saphire said.
I raised an eyebrow at her, even though I wasn't sure if she could see it.
"I'm comming in with you."
"What?" Saphire exclaimed while I walked past her to the door that led to her attic. I opened it and walked through the dark room towards a staircase. Then Saphire started whisper shouting.
"What are you doing?! You could wake my parents! And my dad's-"
"Beta. I know."
I quietly walked down the stairs and went through the hallway to her room. I had only been here once, when I had brought her the necklace. But still I remembered where to go.
I stopped when I got to Saphire's room and Saphire crashed against my back. I turned around.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah."
I nodded and opened the door to her room. I smiled, on her nightstand was the necklace. I walked forward and reached for it but Saphire grabbed it first.
"Don't... touch anything."
I looked her in the eye, well as close to her eyes I could come in the dark.
"Where did you get that?"
"It was a gift for my seventeenth birthday." She whispered, looking down at the necklace.
I hesitated for a moment before stepping forwards and cupping her cheeks with my hands. At that moment the moon decided to appear from behind the clouds and I could see Saphire's beautiful big blue eyes. I leaned towards her.
"I'm the one that put it under your pillow." I whispered.
With that I stepped back and walked out of the room.
