Alexander's P.O.V.~The night before~
I watched Saphire climb back into her room and closing the window behind her. She has been sneaking off like this for the past year or so. I tried to find out where to but lost her each time when she got a taxi.
I remembered the day I had found out she was mate. She had been fifteen at the time and couldn't feel the mate bond yet, but I could. It had been two weeks before I was banished.
She was training with Andrew, my other older brother, in the woods. Since she was Beta's daughter they had bonded quite well, their parents mostly being busy and all. Aden was learning to be alpha so we didn't see much of him either. And I was just that loner kid that had no freinds and didn't talk to anyone.
Not that that was a bad thing. That way I had found the pack I belonged to.
That was two years ago. I was eighteen now and Saphire had celebrated her seventeenth birthday three weeks ago. I smiled. I wondered if she knew that the necklace that had layed under her pillow was from me. I doubted it.
But one day, when she and I would be alone, I would tell her.
I just hoped she wouldn't reject me before I got the chance. Because, well.
Who would want to be mated to the traitor?

~Back to the present~
"Oh no, I have waited a long time for you. I am not letting you go so easily." I said.
I held Saphire even closer to me, breathing in her scent. Ash and roses. Her curly brown hair was tied back into a neat bun, I liked it better when she hung it out free. Which she usually only did when she snuck off at night.
Saphire took a deep breath.
"You haven't answered my question yet."
I was surprised by her boldness. I thought she'd be more afraid. I smirked when I realised she was probably feeling the mate bond, even though she didn't know that yet.
"What question?" I whispered, just to tease her.
"Who are you?" Saphire repeated. But her voice had lost some of it's firmness.
I touched her cheek with my nose and smirked when I heard her breath hitch.
"That's for me to know and you to find out."
With that I let go of my mate and used my powers to 'disapear'.
(In other words: I teleported myself back to Firestone pack grounds.)
