Alex's P.O.V.I looked at the pages of the Fey book. "It doesn't really say much does it?" I said.
Granny Ann shook her head. "Fey are mysterious creatures."
We were inside the house by the fireplace. While Granny Ann showed Safire the book on Fey I'd quickley gone to Bluemoon to get her stuff. Luckily it was already packed. I was now looking at the book myself.
"It says here that feeries usually have brown eyes..." Safire said.
"Yes." Granny Ann motioned for her to continue.
"But yours are red. Why is that?"
"That too is for me a mystery." Granny Ann smiled.
"Now of you go! Enjoy yoursleves and stop keeping this old hag from her sleep!" Granny Ann waved her arms in leaving motions.
I smiled and took Safire's hand. Leading her outside.
"I really like her." Safire said.
I smiled. "I do to."
We started walking down one of Firestones many with red-roses aligned paths. Safire was admiring all the trees, flowers and houses. Even though she's already seen it before.
I remembered when I'd come here for the first time. And as I was looking at Safire I saw Firestone through those eyes again.
Suddenly the wind shifted and I sniffed the air. A familier scent entering my nose. I stopped and sniffed again. Wait, was that...?
"Ahum. Behind you."
I spun around, letting go of Safire's hand in the procces.
"Alexa?"
"Bingo!" She made jazzhands and grinned broadly. Then she started speed talking.
"Anywho... since my BFF is out of town for a few days and I had nothing to do and I decided I'd kind of help you guy maybe or something-" Alexa took a deep breath.
"So I did some research into your ex-Alpha and may or may not have found something interesting."
Alexa handed me a piece of paper.
"No way."
"Yes way."
"Wat is it?"
I showed Safire the piece of paper.
"But... that means..."
"It means we're paying my brother a little visit tomorrow." I smirked, pocketing the evidence.
"Is that why you were banished?" Safire asked. I nodded.
Alexa spoke again. "It was nice seeing you guys again but I gotta run. So bye."
Alexa turned into her trademark white kitten and skidded off. She was quite fast for her size.
Safire hugged me.
"I'm so glad we can clear your name."
"I'd say I was glad to but... I don't really care about it."
Safire frowned. "But then why are we 'paying your borther a visit' tomorrow?"
"You'll see."
