Chapter 11- In which it's the perfect night to lie and tell the truth.

We arrived to the pub, the three of us; Dom was already waiting for us with Amy, sitting on a table far away from the crowd.

"Guys!" Dom shouted at us, raising one of his arms. We walked towards their table and I sat next to Dom, while Matt and Mon sat in front of me, and Amy already in front of Dom. "Matty-bear, your hair looks fabulous. Yours too, Loggie-cookie; you look good in green, ginger and blonde" I laughed and thanked him with a wide smile.

"Thanks, Dummy" Matt answered.

"Have you ordered something, guys?" I asked Dom, feeling Mon's stare. All the way here, I felt her staring at me, since Matt hugged me and started spinning around. Dom stretched his arm around my shoulders.

"Not yet, sweetheart; we were waiting for you" Dom answered. "Amy, she's Loggie-cookie, but you can call her Logan, I haven't seen her in three years until a week ago, and now she's one of my closest friends. Since you're a Muse fan, you already know Matt and his new blue hair and his girlfriend Monica. Everyone, she's Amy"

"Hello, Amy" I greeted her with a warm smile. I grabbed Dom's menu and looked at it. "Since I haven't eaten anything since breakfast, I'd rather eat before I start drinking"

"Very wise" Amy said shyly. "So, I already know how Muse met, how did you meet them?" Amy asked me. She looked like an adorable girl.

"I was taking pictures for a photography contest. And I found Matt playing his guitar in a park nearby my house. So I asked him if I could take a picture of him, then we started talking and one thing led to another; and I invited him to the contest because he wanted to see the photograph, after the contest, he invited me to Dom's place to a party he was hosting"

"Wait" Mon said. "Matt invited you?" She asked. I noticed how Matt put on a poker face, trying not to seem scared or panicked.

"Yeah..." I answered unsure of what I was supposed to do. I looked at Matt, and the look of his eyes somehow told me he didn't tell Mon about what happened between us. To be honest, in Matt's place, I wouldn't tell her either. "Then at the party I met Matt's friends" Should I lie? Looking at Matt's face, made me imagine his voice telling me "Please, don't tell her. Please, don't tell her. Please, please..." I came up with a quick lie without even thinking on what I was about to do "Since Dom's party...I developed a crush on Dummy-cookie..." I lied terribly. On the bright side, the only one who knew I lied was Matt, since he looked more relieved; on the other hand, everybody reacted, including Dom.

"What?!" I heard Mon and Dom ask at the same time. Amy just let her jaw fall to the ground.

"You had a crush on me?!" Dom asked.

"What have I done?" I whispered. I had dug a hole all the way to China and there was no going back; I had to continue improvising. "Yeah, Dom. I had a crush on you. But three years were enough to get over you" After saying this, I turned again to face Matt; but now his stare was different. He didn't seem nervous or relaxed whatsoever; now he looked at me with doubt mixed with deception; metaphorically speaking, he looked at me with blue eyes.

"Wow, those were indeed big news" Dom sighed. "I will go get a drink" He stood up and walked to the bartender.

I was still staring at Matt and he moved his lips.

"What the hell was that?" He mouthed without letting a single noise out of his throat. Mon was still shocked, Amy noticed Matt mouthing, so I put a poker face.
