I rushed Bucky to my room, trying to avoid any curious eyes but it's not everyday you see what happened tonight. I tenderly placed Bucky onto the mattress and used my magic to cool my hand and placed it on his forehead. A few minutes after he groaned in pain but there was really nothing else I could do.

"Um...hey."

"Why is your hand covered in frost?" He asked drowsily.

"Magic, remember?" I reminded. He seemed confused. "Oh, your memories." I mentally laughed at myself since that was quite stupid of me. I gracefully dropped my hand over Bucky's forehead, returning his memories. He instantly shot up and hugged me. I didn't know what to do so I just sat there with my arms by my side.

"Okay, now that we got the time...what do you mean again? A second time of what? Please, don't hold out on me." He started begging like a stray dog. I laughed a little and he smiled afterwards.

"Okay, but no questions afterwards, got it?" I asked. He nodded his head.
I sat in silence again before starting the story. "When you were on mission, I think in 1998, I was practicing magic but I wasn't on the platform I was in my room. I figured out I could make myself look like someone else so I made myself look like Elias. When a guard passed by he thought I was really Elias so he pulled the alarms thinking I wasn't at the base and I had escaped. I thought I could leave so I made myself look like a guard but I didn't realize you needed an ID on you. They figured out and Elias wasn't all that happy. He pulled me into some room with no windows besides the door with a crack in the wood. He starting punching me as soon as we got in...I was too scared to fight back...so I let him continue. He was punching and kicking and doing anything painful he could do. It was possibly an hour until he let the nurses heal my wounds. I'm surprised you never found out, everyone talked about for months and the scars were on my arms and face for even longer." I told him. He was pretty mad, that was obvious but he was also...stunned I guess is the right word. "Oh, great now you'll think I'm some wimp now, huh?" I asked, still not a word. I looked down at my knees, just about ready to cry when he tugged my arm and reeled me closer to him.

"The day I call you a wimp would be a nightmare for me. If I ever do, it isn't me. I need you to understand that." Now I was crying just a bit.

"Thank you, James." I whispered. He was just smiling but I felt like I was important, like I was loved. And he loved me, at least that's what he said. We laid back on the mattress, my head on his chest and his metal arm around my body. We just laid together like when I was a kid.

"Alexandrine, what do you see me as?" He asked.

"What do you mean?"

"Like, am I like your father or your brother?" He asked. I giggled

"Well, definitely not my dad if that makes you feel better." I insured him.

"Oh, that's good."

"But I'd don't see you as a brother or a friend, your special to me in a different way. A friend wouldn't do what you just did, they would forget me instantly, they'd probably have others to love. A brother and sister get into fighting matches all the time and in the day you've been here you haven't exactly acted like we've fought before. You're something different." I told him.

We kept talking about our past together, he did most of the talking since I didn't remember anything. We soon fell asleep but I didn't lay on his chest just in case Elias decides to check in on us while we were asleep

:::::::::::

When it was morning I turned to the other side of the mattress to check in on Bucky, he was already up, his back against the wall. I was a bit startled honestly.

"Were you watching me while I slept?" I asked jokingly.

"Well I wasn't watching the mattress." He told me. I chuckled before sitting up next to him. "You're a very peaceful sleeper for an assassin."

"Well, technically I'm not an assassin, I'm a spy/sniper." I corrected him.

"Well assassin or not, being a peaceful sleeper and working for HYDRA isn't very safe."

"Yeah, I know, almost cost me my life once but I managed." I told him. He chuckled, looking out the window. His smile was wiped away as soon as he looked at it.

"What? Is there something outside?"

"No. The shadow on the wall." He whispered. I looked at the wall and saw a shadow of guards that where in front of Elias.

"What the hell? What are they doing?" I whispered back.

"I think I know, and it's worse than the brainwash if I'm correct." He mumbled. I was about to grab his hand but he quickly placed his hands on my cheeks and directed my face towards him. "Remember what I said last night: I'd never call you a wimp, or anything like that. I need you to know if I ever hurt you it's not me."

"Wait, why would you hurt me?" I asked.

"I wouldn't, but someone would make me." He warned me but I was terrified. "Alex...I hope you knew this by now but I'm going to tell you anyway, I l-" before Bucky could finish, the guards encroached our conversation and instantly threw a gun pointing at my head. Bucky looked dead straight into Elias' eyes.

"Miller, Webber, Becker, Kuhn, take them to Room D13." I widen my eyes to the size of footballs. Miller and Webber grabbed my arms while Becker and Kuhn grabbed Bucky. I struggled to get free but they had a real strong grip.

::::::::::

When we got to Room D13, they sat Bucky down in a metal chair, protected by 6 inched metal besides a 4 tiny slits on every wall. Miller and Weber chained me to a desk across from the box and tied me to the leg of the desk.

"Alvin, Nikolaus, please. You guys don't have to do this." I whispered.

"We really are sorry Alexandrine, but you'd do the same if you knew what was at stake."

"But what if HYDRA was lying to you? What if it's just bait to stop you from wanting to leave? Come on guys! You gotta trust me!" I whispered. Elias and the scientists walked in, Nik left but Al told me something.

"We'll figure something out, just not today." He then scampered out of the room along with Nik. Elias gave me an Asshole-ish kind of smirk before turning towards Bucky.

"Alright, let's get this show on the gory road."
