We all sat silently and waited for the others to return. Sam and Bucky were worried, Sam was breaking into a nervous sweat and Bucky was silent. When he's silent he worries, I knew this well. "They're going to be fine, they're Earth's mightiest heroes versus a bunch of lower class agents. Two are professionally trained assassins, One's a super soldier, one's is a fucking witch. If they can't handle these people, with no leader, then you guys could use an upgrade. And you guys just got one. They smiled at me, so I continued to cheer them up.  "Plus, they can call us if they need to do if they were in trouble, they would've found a way to tell us." Bucky wrapped his arm around me and pulled my closer to him so I was wrapped my arm around him too.

"Your real optimistic for an ex-HYDRA agent." Sam told me. "That's good." He smiled at me, before he definitely was not smiling at me.

"Thank you. HYDRA is a lot of things but they're not something that could defeat you guys. Maybe take a few of you guys down since you are evidently understaffed."

"Yeah, we could use a backbone. For now Steve's the backbone." Sam told me.

"If Steve were a regular person with a regular job, he'd be that poor father that works over time to help his family." Bucky said.

"Yeah, basically he's a poor old man who won't acknowledge it." I sighed. "Every dad like that dies a happy man though, because they know they're children will grow up good. That's all a parent hopes for their child."

After an hour of silence the rest of the team finally made it back. Scott and Sam were actually jumped by the broken silence but I ignored them. "You have the book?" Steve asked. I handed the book to him but he shook his head and pushed it away. "We're not keeping it. We're going to make sure no one can ever use it again." Steve told us. Bucky smiled at him for Steve to give him a slim grin.

"Do you have my file?" I asked. Steve looked to Natasha, holding a file in her hand. She left it to me for everyone to start hovering over me. "What?"

"Open it!" Bucky told me in an obvious tone.

"Wait, now? Like, right now?"

"Yeah, we didn't get the file for nothing."

"You got to make sure I wouldn't kill you all." I reminded them.

"That's only one reason. Open it." I looked down at the file, burning my eyes straight through it.

"Okay. But at least start flying the jet." Clint started up the jet as I sat on what would usually be Tony's desk but he doesn't mind and he'd never know. I slid the papers out, looking at my identification photos and mission records and specialties list. Skimming over paper after paper until I finally got to a short paper titled 'family history and whereabouts'. "Okay, this is it." Bucky rubbed my arm to comfort me before I started reading the paper.

"Well, what does it say?" Natasha asked.

"My name is Ella Melody Chase. My parents live in London and my dad owns the Wonder Foundation."

"The Wonder Foundation? They design disaster relief houses, right?" Bucky asked.

"Yeah, they're well funded. It's n-" I stoped, staring at the file.

"What? What is it?" Steve asked.

"Th-They had another kid. A girl, and they named her Emma Melanie Chase." Everyone sat in a brief silence. "But she died from cancer when she was 10."

"That's...strange. They basically gave her the same name." Sam murmured.

"They tried to replace me. Fill their pain with another child. But kept the reminder of the one they lost."
